@MN6Watch @EricLDaugh Tell me you realize how ridiculous your comment is. The ENTIRE point of voter ID is to ensure only citizens vote in our elections. You do realize that right? RIGHT??

What exactly was in Husted’s unanimous consent request? “Only the voter ID portion” is doing a lot of work in that sentence. If it was strictly photo ID at the polls — Democrats have said they don’t oppose that. Schumer said it on the floor this week. If it included proof of citizenship to register — that’s not “only voter ID.” That’s the provision Kansas tried that blocked 30,000+ eligible citizens. Republicans have been conflating photo ID to vote with proof of citizenship to register all day. The text of what Husted actually proposed matters. Has anyone published it?

🚨 HOLY CRAP! Senate Democrats were just asked to pass ONLY the voter ID part of the SAVE America Act... ...and they BLOCKED it. Democrats said "we support voter ID, not all the other stuff" So Sen. Jon Husted filed to do exactly that. THEY JUST WANT FRAUD! SEN. MIKE LEE: "Chuck Schumer and other Democrats have insisted that they actually support Voter ID—they just object to other parts of the SAVE America Act." "Well, Sen Jon Husted just asked unanimous consent to pass ONLY the Voter ID portion of the bill. Democrats blocked it."

@CollinRugg This is really sad. He’s only 18 years old, and now he faces a sentence that will keep him in prison for most of his adult life. His family must be feeling a lot of pain and worry over what this will mean for his future.

NEW: Family of a Texas teen loses it as judge sentences him to 25 years in prison for robbing a convenience store. Judge Raquel West was seen torching 18-year-old Caden James Fontenette before handing out the sentence. "There was a time some years ago that there really wasn't even a question... State's attorneys were recommending youthful offenders probation. Let's give everybody an opportunity..." West said. "You don't have a good likelihood of being successful if I were to put you on probation... I'm going to sentence you to a term of 25 years." Fontenette pleaded guilty to aggravated robbery for a 2025 incident where he and two others robbed a convenience store at gunpoint. The suspects were caught on camera assaulting the store clerk. Fontenette will likely be in his 40s when he is released from prison.

Operation Epic Fury has separated America's true allies from fair weather friends, fence sitters and outright adversaries. Seven days into this historic operation to crush the Iranian regime's terror machine,  a few things have become very clear. Number one, Israel is our greatest ally in the world. Number two, much of Europe is now worse than unreliable--the governments of Great Britain and Spain in particular have been disgraceful this past week. Number three, Russia remains a determined adversary, even providing intelligence to Iran about U.S. troop locations. Yet despite it all, the U.S. and Israel are completely smashing the regime and now President @realDonaldTrump is demanding their "unconditional surrender."

@gregcloney @ErickStakelbeck Ponder this. Let’s say this war results in Iran no longer being a threat in the world. Israel no longer has the boogie man they’ve used for decades. Irans proxies wither and die without their funding and support. That scenario looks a lot better than the past 50-60 years…

🇺🇸🙏🇺🇸 In April 1972, Thomas Norris sailed straight into enemy rivers wearing a fisherman's disguise. Command said the pilots were irretrievable. Norris was 24, a Navy SEAL operating inside North Vietnam. Two U.S. pilots had been shot down. Patrol boats everywhere. Checkpoints on every river bend. Enemy soldiers hunting them day and night. Rescue planners called it impossible. Norris volunteered. He moved at night through swamps and jungle with South Vietnamese commandos. Lt. Col. Iceal Hambleton had survived 11 days alone behind enemy lines. Norris found him, hid him, and guided him through darkness to the Cua Viet River. A U.S. ship pulled them out alive. Then Norris went back. Deeper. Harder. More patrols. With Nguyen Van Kiet, he located Lt. Mark Clark and brought him out under increasing enemy pressure. Two men saved from certain capture. For that, Norris received the Medal of Honor. Six months later, October 31, 1972, his recon team was ambushed by 50 to 100 North Vietnamese soldiers. Norris was shot in the head. His skull fractured. His left eye destroyed. He collapsed and was presumed dead. One man refused to accept that. Mike Thornton ran back through gunfire, lifted Norris onto his shoulders, fought to the ocean, and swam 2 hours under fire until a U.S. ship reached them. Norris survived. Metal plate in his skull. Lost eye. Years of recovery. The only time 1 Medal of Honor recipient saved another. Most people still have no idea who Thomas Norris is.

In 2019, a man broke into the home of 82-year-old Willie Murphy in Rochester, New York, just after 11 at night. He had been banging on her door pretending to be sick, and when she wouldn’t let him in, he smashed through it. What he didn’t know was that Murphy is an award-winning bodybuilder who can deadlift 225 pounds and works out at her local gym almost every day. She grabbed a table and beat him with it until it broke. When he hit the floor she jumped on him. Then she grabbed a bottle of baby shampoo and squirted it all over his face. Then she hit him with a broom. By the time police arrived he was lying on the ground unable to move and had to leave in an ambulance. The officers asked to take selfies with her on her porch.

Everyone told me to throw it out. The contractor, my sister, even my own husband said, "Maureen just get a new one from Home Depot and be done with it." This stove belonged to my grandmother. A 1950s Chambers, white with chrome handles, six burners, double ovens, built in warming drawers, the kind of thing they simply do not make anymore. It sat in her kitchen in the house on Maple Street for over 40 years. She cooked every holiday meal on it, every birthday cake, every pot of Sunday sauce that made the whole block smell like garlic and tomatoes. When she died in 2019 the house went up for sale and my uncle was going to let the new owners gut the kitchen. I drove four hours with a rented truck and two guys from Craigslist to pull that stove out of there. It sat in my garage for almost three years because I couldn't afford to restore it. It was rusted in places, the enamel was chipped, two of the burners didn't work, and one of the oven doors wouldn't close right. Every time I walked past it to get to the washing machine I'd run my hand across the top and whisper, "I'm going to fix you, just wait." My husband thought I was losing it. Then last year I got a small inheritance from an aunt on my dad's side, not much, but enough. I found a guy who specializes in vintage appliance restoration and he spent three months bringing her back to life. The day they delivered it into my kitchen and I saw it sitting there under the warm light, looking exactly like it did in grandma's house, I sat on my kitchen floor and sobbed. That white enamel shining, the chrome polished like mirrors, the burners clicking on perfectly. I bake on it now every Sunday. The percolator on the stovetop is one I found through a seller’s shop who had a collection full of restored vintage enamelware and I nearly screamed when I saw it because it's almost identical to the one grandma used. I've since decorated the whole area with handmade vintage style kitchen pieces I bought from different artisan shops, the little timer, the ceramic utensil holder, all of it. People come over and stand in my kitchen staring at this stove like it's a museum piece and I just smile because they have no idea. It's not a stove. It's every Christmas morning, every burnt cookie we laughed about, every conversation we had while she stirred something on the back burner. They told me to throw it out. I'm so glad I never listened. By Amanda cain

Today, the Supreme Court reaffirmed authority that has rested with Congress for centuries. The American people already know that tariffs make building and buying here at home more expensive. And Kentuckians understand this painful reality better than most. But the use of IEEPA to circumvent Congress in the imposition of tariffs, already without precedent, isn’t just bad policy – it’s also illegal. My full statement: mcconnell.senate.gov/public/index.c…

He left NASA in 2011 to join SpaceX, where he worked closely with Elon Musk for seven years Reisman became Director of Space Operations, helping prepare Falcon 9 and Crew Dragon for human spaceflight He often pointed out the key difference: at SpaceX, problems were solved in one meeting. At NASA, the same issues could take years His work helped make history with NASA’s first commercial crew mission in 2020 Today, SpaceX is the most innovative aerospace company in the world, and it has built the largest flying object ever created

NEW: Woman arrested after ditching her dog at the Las Vegas airport when she was told she couldn't bring it on board. The woman was told the goldendoodle couldn't fly because it wasn't a registered service animal. Instead of leaving the airport, the woman decided to tie the dog to the JetBlue ticket counter and leave for the departure gate. "Airline staff advised the dog’s owner she was required to complete online documentation in order to travel with the animal as a service dog," said the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. "When the required paperwork was not completed, the passenger was denied a boarding pass. She then left the dog behind and proceeded through the airport to the departure gate." "Officers later located the individual at Gate D1. When asked why she abandoned the dog, she stated the airline would not allow her to fly with it and claimed the dog had a tracking device — implying it was acceptable to leave the animal behind and it would return to her." The woman then became "hostile" and resisted officers who tried to detain her. She was charged with animal abandonment and resisting arrest. The dog was sent to an Animal Protective Services' holding for 10 days. The owner never tried reclaiming the dog, who will now be up for adoption. "The dog — now affectionately named “Jet Blue” — is safe, in foster care, and will soon be placed in a new, loving home," LVMPD said.
