I can understand why Anthony Davis might be skeptical of playing his age 33 season in Washington.
However, I believe it benefits both parties here for Davis to ball for the Wizards next season. There’s no reason the Wizards should move him now.

At this moment Deni Avdija has a more promising future than any of the players they tanked for. Maybe lottery night changes that, and they certainly got unlucky last year, but even if the process made sense, they fundamentally misevaluated their own player.
