If they keep Byram I'd be liking the makeup of this team a lot more if they had found a way to get Kesselring without having to give up Peterka to do it.
I'm in on the Dahlin/Byram, Kess/Power and (soft) Sammy/Timmins pairings for the blue line.

No new news on Bo Byram.

Adams says they are absolutely open to matching an offer sheet on Byram. Said they’ve been strategic about planning for it.

@LLysowski Their plan is they need to find another forward to replace Peterka. They continue to self inflict these holes in their roster by choice, rinse and repeat. There's no plan, GMKA is lost and I've given up that they could resemble any bit of competency

I have said consistently we have a lot of things to work on at the Sabres - a “critical broadcast” is not one of them. Would have been happy to tell anyone that asked! It’s tough to respond to everything but wanted to clear this up.

What is the legitmate case people are making for Allen to win MVP over Lamar? I don't see how Lamar is NOT winning 2 MVP's in a row. Allen also had a great season, but Lamar's numbers are just stupid

@Elite_Drafters I have Estime, Shipley, Elijah Moore, and Erick All at the end of my bench. Already have Mason. Worth dropping any of the 4 for Whittington/Vaki?

I have promoted Jordan Mason, Jordan Whittington, and Sione Vaki for weeks, months, in some cases years.
Often times we have to clean out our roster to make room.
Let me know if you guys have anyone on squad considering dropping. Happy to encourage you to let them go.

@ntrider825 This is where we cannot say for certain because we don't have the luxury to know what Savoie would have done in a full AHL season in 2023/24 because of the silly AHL/CHL rule. It's a legitimate technicality but I do wonder how much that may have potentially altered things

Tyler Tullio appreciation thread. He’s such a well rounded player that has great hockey sense, can shoot and set up plays. He’s a good skater and I think he is a perfect 2nd round target in the #2020NHLDraft
