@_emilyrarick Sorry you’ve had a bad experience. Ours have worked great on net metering. Usually have a credit of nearly $1200 going into winter and use it up in time for more sun. Five years in trouble free, they’ll have paid for themselves in three more years. Need a quality installer.

@Martyupnorth_2 I moved to uni at 19, paid for with work and scholarship, (exit with no debt) and never wanted to move back. Fortunately found a good paying job in a local cemetery with pension and benefits.

When I was 18, I couldn't wait to get out of the house, from under my father's rules, and start my own life. Staying with you parents into your 30s is just not something I would ever do, no matter my situation. "I' have no money" is just an excuse.
