May this be the first step leading towards a comprehensive and long-lasting resolution on all issues for the much-needed peace and stability in the region. Diplomacy, dialogue and de-escalation must prevail on all fronts.

The future of tourism depends on global collaboration.     On the sidelines of the @WTTC Global Summit, I exchanged views with fellow ministers, tourism organisations and other industry leaders, including @MTurismoItalia @DSantanche, @Saudi_MT @AhmedAlKhateeb and @UNWTO Secretary General-Elect Shaikha Nasser Al Nowais.    We discussed shared priorities - connectivity, climate adaptation, aligning tourism development with the wellbeing of local communities, and heritage preservation for authentic travel experiences.

Malta welcomes @POTUS @realDonaldTrump efforts to end the war in Gaza and secure the release of hostages. We urge all parties to engage constructively toward a just peace based on the two-state solution and international law. Malta stands ready to support this path to stability.

Had a productive meeting with @SecScottBessent following the conclusion of the EU-US trade agreement. We also discussed opportunities with @SecretaryBurgum and @SecretaryWright to expand bilateral cooperation in the energy sector.
