@WillieParkJr1 @LouStagner Embedded ball, casual water, immovable obstruction, burrowing animal hole. So, play it as it lies??? But not always? Divots should be included.

@jaycsipkes @LouStagner I think the players that take drops on every single shot would be weeded out pretty quick. Just like the " I think my ball crossed the red line way up there" players. Or the " I have casual water here" stompers.

@DBunks15 @LouStagner I think the idea is good, but players being allowed to take a drop basically if they want to, is a problem…. What if a grass divot is partially re-grown but not quite to the same grass length as the rest of the FW? Defining a divot is a problem.

Best rule in golf. 😐

@jaycsipkes @LouStagner Sure there could be players who want to take advantage, but I think the majority know what a divot is. And it's OK in my scenario if it is a 2 or 3 or 4 week old divot. It is still ground that is repairing. Take relief. You were in the fairway anyways.

@jaycsipkes @LouStagner Players decision. Player determines whether they are in a divot or not. I realize there are implications with integrity, but many of the rule situations are based on player integrity anyways. And it's a one year trial to see if it would actually change the game significantly .

Although my 3rd round wasn't as good as I had hoped, my first Euro MidAm was a great experience. Well done European Golf Association and Bogogno Golf Resort.
