Yesterday I visited The Faircliff, a new addition to Columbia Heights that will bring 125 new affordable homes to the neighborhood. The building features several energy efficient features and is possible due to @DCGreenBank .

Howard Theater + @DCGreenBank are partnering to install solar & new HVAC at the historic theater – creating $1.5 million in energy savings. It’s a smart way to support the arts and our climate goals + good example of why the Council restored Green Bank funding in the budget.

Yesterday, I joined @DCGreenBank for a tour of affordable housing clean energy projects in Ward 5, from Edgewood to Brookland. Neighbors are benefiting from cleaner energy and lower utility costs. I am grateful for the Green Bank and will do what I can to expand on their work.
