LoP Shri @RahulGandhi met with a delegation of IDBI Bank employees in Parliament today. The delegation expressed their strong opposition to the government’s move to privatise IDBI. During the meeting, the employees highlighted the assurance given by the BJP-led NDA government in 2003, which is clearly being disregarded. They also conveyed their concerns that selling a profitable public sector bank to private entities would adversely impact the nation, the general public, and the bank’s employees.

Non compliance with the regulator, Highcourt, Labour court & laws has become the culture of @mahabank Bank of Maharashtra management. No individual is above law. In 2025 no management can afford to behave like the King can do no wrong. This strike is precisely to caution bank management on the same. In the process now it is investors who have lost today.
