@SenTinaSmith So if you call a doctor who has never examined you, and say you don’t feel and are miserable and he decides you are better off dead and sends you arsenic to kill yourself, you are good with that?
English

Good… but why do we have to suffer under these relentless back-and-forth court decisions? It’s exhausting.
Just let women talk to their own doctors and make their own decisions about their own bodies and their own health care.

@JamesP1759520 @isaiahrmartin The answer is to ban ALL gerrymandering, regardless of state. Gerrymandering is a plague on this country and both parties abusing the American people is a travesty.
English

@isaiahrmartin Can’t wait for the Democrats to rape this state even more!!! I’m so looking forward to more democratic leadership that has made us one of the brokest, most indebted, and slowest growing states in America!!!! Vote Blue!
English

You’re about to learn a painful lesson that Illinois is bigger than Tennessee, Marsha!

Marsha Blackburn@VoteMarsha
I urge our state legislature to reconvene to redistrict another Republican seat in Memphis. It's essential to cement @realDonaldTrump’s agenda and the Golden Age of America. I've vowed to keep Tennessee a red state, and as Governor, I'll do everything I can to make this map a reality.
English

@ClayTravis There is zero argument that her appointment was unconstitutional. These are the rakes that make it hard to take people like you serious.

@RobinSpringer64 @isaiahrmartin You guys will ALWAYS find a way to excuse President Trump’s rhetoric. This is why no one takes you people serious.
English

@isaiahrmartin The difference is Republicans aren't actually killing their opponents like you Democrats are.
I don't associate or vote
with these types of killers and woke Liberal lunatics

Here's another compilation of unhinged leftists having mental breakdowns after another left-wing assassin FAILED to m*rder President Trump. We have to share a country with these violence-loving lunatics.

@magachrchpastr Yeah I’m sure Trump will definitely back off his typical rhetoric 😂

Kimmel’s hateful and violent rhetoric is intended to divide our country. His monologue about my family isn’t comedy- his words are corrosive and deepens the political sickness within America.
People like Kimmel shouldn’t have the opportunity to enter our homes each evening to spread hate.
A coward, Kimmel hides behind ABC because he knows the network will keep running cover to protect him.
Enough is enough. It is time for ABC to take a stand. How many times will ABC’s leadership enable Kimmel’s atrocious behavior at the expense of our community.

@andrewgolden_17 Every pick from the 4th onward is barely a lotto ticket. Why are we splitting hairs over late round picks that half the time don’t even make NFL rosters

Jets added the 6th, 15th, 22nd and 39th players on the consensus board thus far and are positive point value on the 2 trades they’ve made combined
They’re currently +16 in value vs consensus
Nice.
Will Parkinson@Willpa11
Cooper was 22nd on consensus so the Jets got strong value there
English

@Old_SchoolEddie To be clear no one is right and both parties are to blame for the gerrymandering. The real answer is independent boards with representation from both parties drawing maps. Playing the blame game is useless and congress needs to step in.
English

No, this redistricting didn't "begin in Texas."
The Democrats kicked off their dirty tricks back in 2022 in New York, where their legislature tried to ram through a blatant gerrymander that courts later struck down as unconstitutional.
Even before that, liberal strongholds across much of New England wiped out every single Republican seat—turning the whole region into a one-party Democrat zone with zero GOP voices in Congress.
Look at Illinois, where Democrats drew one of the most aggressive gerrymanders in the country, packing Republicans into as few districts as possible while giving themselves a huge edge in their 17-seat map.
And don't forget Oregon, in 2021, right after the census, Democrats passed one of the most obvious power grabs in recent memory, carving out a heavily skewed 5-to-1 Democrat map that locked in their control no matter what voters wanted.
These are the same liberals and socialists who scream about "fairness" and "democracy" every time Republicans play by the rules in red states.
But when blue states rig the game first, it's suddenly okay.
Let's cut the BS!
The left has been gerrymandering for years to cling to power, and now they cry foul when conservatives fight back in places like Texas.
This is classic Democrat hypocrisy, straight out of their socialist playbook to stack the deck against real Americans.

English

@ThomasMHern Regardless of your party I don’t understand why the answer isn’t creating independent boards to draw maps. At least party balance on such a board can be maintained versus the state leading party drawing maps to help themselves.
English

@dcmoore174 @ChrisMartzWX Right now the party in power has all the leverage, and regardless of what side you sit on that helps no one. At least balance between the two parties can be maintained with an apolitical apparatus drawing the maps. It isn’t perfect but it’s better.
English

@ChrisMartzWX How would you make it “illegal.” Someone is going to have to draw the districts and no one is completely removed from politics or bias. The losing side will always claim gerrymandering especially in this political climate.
English

@HawleyWilm61648 @CBSNews Or they could simply drop the investigation?
English

@CBSNews Senator, what possible good does this do except to hold back a nominee you consider well-qualified. Do you really want to hinder the American economy to prove a political point? If Powell has done nothing wrong, he will be vindicated in the court system.
English

Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC) is vowing that through the end of his term, he’ll continue refusing to vote on any Fed nominees until the DOJ’s probe into Fed Chair Jerome Powell is dropped.
“I have a little over 260 days left in the U.S. Senate. And if that investigation is still going on, in the 260th day, then, I’m pretty certain Kevin Warsh has not been confirmed,” Tillis tells CBS News’ “The Takeout.”
English

@Just1Conserv @JoeCunninghamSC Dems continue to ask for a national ban and even installed independent commissions to handle these maps. Republicans do not. I’m sorry you don’t agree.
English

@DDelg9504 @JoeCunninghamSC Why would I trust you to build a house when I just watched you tear down my house?
English

@Just1Conserv @JoeCunninghamSC And we don’t have a nationwide ban, and that’s the point. What’s your confusion here?
English

@DDelg9504 @JoeCunninghamSC We just had a statewide ban and you destroyed it. How can you possibly think you have any credibility on this topic?
English

@Just1Conserv @JoeCunninghamSC If you’re not going to ban gerrymandering, both parties will continue to abuse it unchecked. You know how you stop the abuse? Nationwide ban. It really isn’t that complicated.
English

@JoeCunninghamSC We had an antigerrymandering process in Virginia. Y'all just dismantled it to institute the worst gerrymander in the country. You have less than zero credibility to be saying "oh ban it nationally!" You just perpetuated it on the state level.
English

@acopo1024 @Bull_Moose01 @jonfavs Both parties gerrymander and if you care about one party doing it and not the other then you’re part of the problem. No party should have access to gerrymandering.
