🇫🇷 A French sailor inadvertently revealed the location of an aircraft carrier by running on deck while wearing a smartwatch. On March 13, a French Navy officer ran on the ship’s deck wearing a smartwatch that synced activity data to the Strava app. Because the sailor’s profile was public, his location became visible online in real time. Journalists from Le Monde were able to pinpoint the carrier group’s position, northwest of Cyprus. The French Ministry of Armed Forces acknowledged the incident, stating that crew members’ actions were outside official protocols.

Even if he was, Netanyahu is not a Christian (few Israeli leaders are), not religious, and he is extremely clear about his intended meaning anyway, so it seems pointless to freak out about what he "meant." He's arguing that Western states need to be tough and use force to beat their enemies because being "good" isn't enough. Countless leaders have made the same point.

There are plenty of valid reasons to disagree with Netanyahu and his policies, but for crying out loud people, he is quoting a book by Will Durant (a guy you can find in every used bookstore). "Nature and history do not agree with our conceptions of good and bad; they define good as that which survives, and bad as that which goes under; and the universe has no prejudice in favor of Christ as against Genghis Khan." I’m Jewish. I agree with @VanHollenForMD about the ADL & Greenblatt — and I think more of us need to speak up about it. Equating criticism of Israel/AIPAC with antisemitism makes Jews less safe and actually foments antisemitism.

yes, this is exactly the point. the people upset with @NYCMayor are not "islamophobic" as evidenced by your correct assertion that no one had any issue with prior mayors celebrating muslim culture. The problem people have with Mamdani is that he is a rabid antisemite married to another antisemite who also appears to be a racist and an anti-gay bigot.
