This has always puzzled me. Why are these essential services so expensive when the people providing the services make next to nothing? Where is the money going & why is there seemingly so way to bring these costs down? 🤔

You are straw manning the argument that is pointing out the straw man in the original meme. This argument. Capitalism - The boat needs rowers so they are paid from the payment received by the guests on top. Voluntary exchange of value. No force. Communism - The boat needs rowers, so those that can will be forced to row. Those on deck are the Elite's, The Politicians. Benefitting from the stolen and forced labour of the masses. Slavery at its core is being able to benefit from the forced labour of others or being forced to use your labour for the benefit of others. Communism creates a form of economic slavery where a small few benefit from the stolen labour of millions. Slavery in itself is not just found under communism but communism always creates economic slavery, starvation and death.

And there it is. Elon Musk just said he wants to cut Social Security and Medicare, calling them “entitlements”: “That’s the big one to eliminate.”

Update: I got into the Israel real estate event at Park East Synagogue. Inside I saw at least one table advertising properties in the West Bank, including Kfar Eldad and Karnei Shomron.
