The data on Ben Shapiro specifically is worth noting here. The analysis found that Israel ranks only as the 8th most frequently discussed topic on his show. His Israel coverage is highly event-driven, spiking around the June 2025 Israel-Iran war and the current Operation Epic Fury. Outside active military conflicts, that coverage falls off sharply, dropping to as low as 32% of episodes in December 2025. Put simply, when there is no major war involving Israel, Shapiro talks about other things.
Eitan Fischberger@EFischberger

Using AI, I analyzed transcripts from 1,250 episodes of major podcasts to see who really talks about Israel the most. The answer may (not) surprise you: 🔸️Candace Owens mentions Israel in 85% of her episodes, making it the #1 substantive topic on her show. Ben Shapiro mentions it in 61% of his. 🔸️Tucker Carlson and Shapiro have nearly identical Israel mention rates (62% vs. 61%), yet Shapiro produces five episodes per week, roughly double the output of the other hosts analyzed in this dataset. On a per-episode basis, Shapiro talks about Israel less than both Owens and Carlson. 🔸️On Owens’ show, Israel gets nearly 2x more airtime than talk of President Trump. On Shapiro’s show, Trump gets 3.7x more airtime than Israel. 🔸️On Megyn Kelly’s show, Israel is the 3rd most-discussed topic by word count.

@W_B_Rick What sport are we talking about? Does Indiana even have a basketball team? It’s embarrassing that you would compare Purdue basketball to Indiana football.

You cited multiple things that aren't jokes and zero items that involve actual comedians doing skits or satire, which is what we are talking about. Yes, I think Libs of TikTok misinterpreted that statement about Greg Abbott. There is no way Kasie Hunt was intending to mock his disability by asking, in the context of that clip, if he "had a leg to stand on." That is a phrase people say. Do you actually disagree? And that wasn't me chiding anyone for joking about anything, that was me disputing a bad-faith characterization of a journalist's remarks. What are you even doing here by including this? Yes, I think it's chilling for a PRESIDENT to talk about revoking a critic's citizenship. I have a different standard for the White House/president and comedians. As for the WNBA thing, that doesn't really have a political or partisan valence, and people throwing sex toys at professionals while they're doing their jobs is a little different. I would absolutely defend comedians making jokes at the WNBA's expense or doing skits mocking them. The closest thing to a relevant point you brought up here is me saying people shouldn't cheer an elderly Democrat getting hurt. But that was about political commentators spitefully mocking someone's potential injury? That's not the same as a comedian making fun of someone. You would never see me chastize someone for comedically mocking Elizabeth Warren... I have done so myself! You're really reaching here in a very strange way. You dug way back through my tweets only to find a bunch of examples that aren't at all applicable.

I've ardently defended Erika Kirk from the ostensibly serious podcasters & media stars defaming her and baselessly implicating her in crimes. But my feelings about the comedian Druski's mockery of Erika Kirk are more complex. For years, I, and many others on the Right, defended edgy and wildly offensive comedy, like mocking trans people and even joking about horrible things like domestic violence, the Holocaust, and AIDS. How can anyone on the Right really argue, in that context, that a comedian mocking a widow is somehow beyond the pale... without being totally hypocritical?

@TheIndianaBison @Moose_313 @asmilefixer Just like we make no attempt to defend our football program you should take the same advice for basketball. IU basketball is a dumpster fire. And Purdue football is a dumpster fire.

Michael Knowles can't seem to call out Candace by name for her horrific attacks against Erika, but he can use his large platform to call a Christian wife and mother a whore, insisting that this slur, which denotes prostitution, means the exact same thing as "formerly promiscuous." Michael is much too smart to pretend he actually believes something so asinine, but even when this redeemed woman's husband called him out, he doubled down, insisting the husband spoke of his wife inappropriately, and Michael was just repeating the ugly sentiment, which the husband had already clearly refuted. Michael feels justified using such denigrating language and scolding a man for his word choice who isn't in any way a public figure or professional communicator, but can't find it in himself to oppose Candace for her infinitely worse statements against Erika from her massive platform. Shame on you, Michael.

How are people still tricked by this god stuff in 2026? I get it in 1026 when your entire world was a square mile in size. We see 13 billion light years in to the universe now and have science and technology. I don’t get it.

@EYakoby That's wild because a lot of people from America go to Cuba for mission trips and sleep on the floor in churches, schools and community centers. Like with this NGO, Praying Pelican Missions.
