Roberts wants us to pretend he isn’t a partisan actor even as the Old South is trying to rise again, an attempt fueled by decisions by conservative justices on the Supreme Court- led by Roberts. To him, he’s above it all, and the racist fallout is just unfortunate coincidence.

@groove_sdc They haven't won yet...their gerrymandering only works if everyone votes for the same party as last time. By splitting the democratic districts, they're diluting the republican 'safe' districts and are def in play!. This could all blow up on them, etc.

The conservative Supreme Court gave the presidency to Bush, gave Trump immunity from his crimes and just gutted the VRA to help Republicans win the midterms btw.

@Lefty3213a @_sn_n Ok, that is NOT what the 2000 election recount was about - at all. Bush's lead in FL went from 30K to just 537 votes when SCOTUS halted the recount, let the deadline pass, then ruled FL missed the deadline to finish. They finally did, afterwards - Gore won. Popular vote & FL!

@_sn_n Thats not political thats them literally DOING THEIR JOB. They Constitution states the electoral college decides president not popular vote. Thus their decision was the text book definition of their job description to rule if things are or are not Constitutional.
