@AdeByrne You can turn on Fediverse in your Threads account. Try following me on Mastadon at @dmc.threads@threads.net Currently only Threads -> Mastadon but should be bidirectional by year end. Early days but promising. Interop is the future.

@AdeByrne Federation is the answer. Starting off with Threads as there is more content (I like bluesky but not much there yet). Twitter is just awful now. Hoping the Fediverse works out and I'll jump to one of the open source/decentralised alternatives and link.yo threads.

I am leaving the NHS after 26 years. I have no concrete plan at this point. Ive had ups and downs and met some amazing people. Who knows what the future holds but thanks all who have been so supportive and kind over the years. I'm sure I'll pop up again when the time is right.💙

@GaryMcAllister Agree it could be better architected. I'm guessing though the PEP funding letter isn't for Mental Health? We weren't included in previous funding....

Just reading funding letter on PEPs... I really think this is an area where the NHS App can and should evolve by offering broader, core functionality - anchored to a National Patient Record - leave the specialist stuff alone and provide clear APIs to anchor into the core record.

Loads of exciting things in the King's Speech today, but this one particularly caught my eye. Hopefully it will mean an end to the lack of parity of esteem and funding we've seen lately. (On the digital front, only funding acute EPRs to use the NHS app is a stark example)
