@jayjazz3 Why are people freaking out about this? Ace is young. Whoever we draft is young. The CBA is prohibitive. We're gonna make a run at this with JJJ and Lauri and then whoever ended top on the bench will start in 2-3 seasons or sooner (I could see Lauri aging into a bench role).

Here’s another thought exercise. Some that I follow are losing their mind at the thought of Ace coming off the bench. What do guys think about about running a jumbo lineup of PG Dybantsa/Peterson SG Bailey SF Markkanen PF JJJ C Kessler And moving Key to somewhere like MIN for

Darryn Peterson’s representation is telling teams at the NBA Combine he views himself as a point guard, per @ShamsCharania. This is notable as it relates to potential fits with the Wizards (Trae Young) and Jazz (Keyonte George).

@SpencerKeele @CHoltSports Why don't you think they will draft DP? Just vibes? Personal connections the Jazz have with AJ and Booz? Tony Jones seems pretty confident it's AJ or DP and he's still as connected as any media member to the front office.

@CHoltSports Completely agree with almost all of this. However, I personally don’t believe the Jazz intent to draft DP. I can see them taking AJ or Booz at 2, trading up for AJ (if Was prefers DP anyway they might be able to get a future pick from Utah) or trading down for Boozer or Wilson.

My NBA Draft/Draft Lottery brainworms: - First and most importantly, this is awesome and it’s a great time for both Jazz fans and the franchise - A lot of people are wayyyy too low on Cam Boozer - In my mind, it’s a three-player pool for the second pick (Sorry CW) - I don’t think the cost of trading up one pick is at all worth it - The Ace Bailey and No. 2 for No. 1 trade idea I see floating around is blasphemy to me - Fit should not be a talking point almost at all - The chance that this draft actually has four All-NBA guys is very low. So all of AJ being T-Mac, DP being Kobe, Booz being K-Love, and Wilson being KG can’t be true Any of these are subject to change. I’m excited for the combine and for the pre-draft process to unfold!

Honestly if the Jazz do want to trade up, maybe the move is just Ace and 2 for Tre and 1. Everyone gets what they wanted out of the last two drafts. I'd personally rather keep Ace and stay at 2, but if the Wiz are open to moving down that's where I'd start the conversation.

@hansenjames I’m a diehard fan of 3 teams. So far this weekend the Carolina Hurricanes won their 2nd round playoff matchup with a second straight sweep. Celtic FC won one of their most important rivalry games of my lifetime. Based on this, vibes indicate the Jazz are getting the top pick.

@jayjazz3 This is why DP would fit so well. If Key progresses, DP plays alongside, Ace slides to the 3 when one of Lauri or JJJ moves on down the road. Or Key stagnates, DP takes over as lead guard and Key becomes 6th man or is a trade asset.

Having defenders everywhere like SA, MIN, & OKC just makes it so hard for me to buy UTA being able to advance in the playoffs w/ Key. Castle, Harper, McDaniels, Ant, Bryant, TSJ, Dosunmu, Wallace, Dort. These dudes compete defensively. Key can prove me wrong but I’d rather have
