I'm just relieved nobody is talking about how I said I bought a house in Clacton, then admitted it was in the name of my girlfriend, Laure Ferrari, even though she couldn't afford £885,000, which conveniently meant I avoided £44,000 in tax.
Please don't share.

GM's reaction to the Lincoln defeat, plus why Robbie Gotts went off at half-time #drfcdoncasterfreepress.co.uk/sport/football…
This man was a great inspiration and big brother. We had love and respect for each others work and I was blessed to know him. He encouraged and elevated me as you see here. How you are missed in the flesh but the music and spirit lives on.
10 years ago today, the world lost Prince and music lost one of its true originals.
A once-in-a-generation artist who didn’t just follow the rules… he rewrote them. From Purple Rain to Sign o’ the Times, his sound, style, and spirit still echo everywhere.
A decade on, and it still feels unreal. But the legacy? Timeless. The influence? Untouchable.
Dearly beloved, we are still gathered here today… 💜

Man’s girlfriend is very annoyed that the free press she champions, despite having emigrated to a dictatorship without one, is investigating her boyfriend for stuff she says people who aren’t her boyfriend, like Angela Rayner, should resign over.
Owen Bailey misses out on the League One player of the year gong at the EFL Awards in London. The winner is Leyton Orient’s Dom Ballard.
Bailey is, however, in the League One team of the season. #drfc
🚨Sunday Times investigation today:
Richard Tice’s companies appear to have failed to pay £100,000+ in corporation tax on profits, while funnelling over £1 million in donations to Reform UK.
Tice calls it a “technicality” but critics say it looks like aggressive tax avoidance benefiting both him personally and his party.
The party that campaigns hardest against the establishment and tax avoidance now finds itself accused of exactly that.
Conveniently everyone in this country has very short memories about security clearance concerns surrounding @BorisJohnson appointment as Foreign Secretary.
Meeting with Former KGB Agent: In 2022, it was revealed that Johnson, while serving as Foreign Secretary in 2018, attended a party in Italy hosted by former KGB agent Alexander Lebedev without officials present. This meeting occurred after a NATO meeting centered on Russia, leading to accusations of a "complete disregard for basic national security".
Restricted Intelligence Access: During his tenure as Foreign Secretary (2016–2018), Downing Street under Theresa May reportedly attempted to withhold sensitive intelligence from Johnson due to concerns within the intelligence community regarding his ability to keep information confidential. Security officials were "wary" of sharing information with him.
Use of Private Communication: Johnson and several ministers were accused of breaching national security guidance by using personal email accounts and phones for government business.
Peerage for Evgeny Lebedev: Concerns were raised regarding Johnson's decision to grant a peerage to Evgeny Lebedev, son of Alexander Lebedev, in 2020, despite security advice.
Post-Office Lobbying (The "Boris Files"): Leaked documents from 2025 indicated that after leaving office, Johnson potentially misused his former contacts for personal financial gain, including lobbying senior Saudi officials and meeting with Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, which raised concerns about the blurring of private business and national security.
Breach of Ethics Rules: A 2025 investigation found that Johnson breached rules regarding the misuse of political contacts after leaving office and failed to cooperate with the investigation.
People in this country attack the wrong targets. And forget the scandals that went on before this @UKLabour Government was elected to power and then gets unwarranted and sinister attacks from a conspiracy on both the left and right.
Just 20 minutes before Trump announced the Strait of Hormuz was open—Someone dumped 7,990 lots of Brent crude futures.
A $760 million bet that oil prices would drop.
Orders far larger than anything else in the market at that moment.
They made a fortune.
But somebody knew the announcement was coming.
This is insider trading at the highest level of government.
"I would rather w**k with a razor".
Pretty clear response from bloke in Wales when asked if he would consider voting Reform...
The man from Reform (who took it in good spirits tbf) is Zak Weaver, a former Tory staffer who defected in February.
