ONE are a different level of petty, it wouldn’t surprise me if they start suing people who are claiming the Rodtang Takeru fight was fixed 😂😂😂 I’ve never seen such a onslaught before, it’s obviously the casual take as 95% of people who watch Rodtang/ ONE haven’t been around long enough to watch him get knocked out before but as I’ve seen a few other people saying it definitely shows a lack of trust people have in ONE, if Ilia Topuria got knocked out in the UFC people wouldn’t be claiming that was fixed because they trust the UFC not to fix any fights. I’ve had people ask my opinion and i tried to sway away from any drama/ negativity but so it maybe changes peoples perspective, I DO NOT think that fight was fixed, impossible. 1) Rodtang has to much pride/ego to fix a fight and lose on purpose. 2) if you are in any way someone who watches combat sports or Muay Thai at that you should know by watching the fight there definitely weren’t any fixing involved. I won’t be saying anything else about this situation nor ONE Samurai, it’s over now and we have ONE Friday fights this Friday to look forward too 🤝✌🏼

A simply relentless 90 minutes. Two St Albans longtime supporters sitting in front of me simply said that “South Melbourne were too good. Too fast, not many mistakes. We had no chance.” I felt that was a pretty accurate assessment, however mighty 🔵⚪️ GK Javi Lopez deserves a shout out for two important saves in each half which ensured St Albans was unable to obtain any momentum. I enjoy watching all the South players, however, the efficiency, & almost perfection in his position coming from Sebastian Pasquali’s midfield play is hard not to admire every week (not that the other players are not at a similar level), it’s just his ability to keep the game ticking in the middle of the park with correct decision after correct decision, by 🇦🇺⚽️ standards is elite, & to be frank, Tom Giannakopoulos is a big part of South’s dominant central midfield too, rarely putting a foot wrong. Also, against pressing sides who have a ruthless streak (like South), St Albans insisting on playing out from the back regularly I believe will cost them points, however, you can’t begrudge a team & coaching staff for trying to build something bigger. When Bonada, Uchida & Mikkola take off though, the defensive team needs to play out with surgical precision under big pressure, & I felt St Albans were too inconsistent in this area last night, losing the ball on the second or third pass in dangerous areas too often. South realistically could’ve had 2-3 more, Pasquali the most unlucky with his angled & darting strike cannoning off the upright with Dinamo goalkeeper Christian Rossi stranded. Unlucky for Pasquali, I felt he deserved the added reward of a goal. Nearly two hours on the road but absolutely worth it.
