@PorgieM1 @acnewsitics @BlueHereMaritza Supreme court already ruled any of these changes legal. Republicans will gain 20 seats in the midterms because of this and you cant stop it.

The real kicker is that SCOTUS ruled just last week that race cannot be a factor in drawing district maps, and that's exactly what Tennessee did: drew maps that specifically benefit whites.

BREAKING: Here’s why "Alligator Alcatraz" — Ron DeSantis's $1 million-per-day Everglades detention camp — could soon be SHUT DOWN. Ron DeSantis built a detention camp in the middle of the Florida Everglades, named it "Alligator Alcatraz," bragged about it constantly, and has been burning through more than $1 million of taxpayer money every single day to run it. Now, even the Trump administration wants it shut down. Federal and state officials are in preliminary talks to close the facility, which DHS has concluded is too expensive and — crucially — ineffective. Florida has spent hundreds of millions operating the remote, swampy tent city between Miami and Naples. Vendors have been struggling to front costs. The state has requested $608 million in federal reimbursement. It hasn't received it. Let's review the design decisions that led here. DeSantis's team specifically chose a remote Everglades location — with no existing infrastructure — because they wanted the inhospitable conditions to deter immigrants. As a result, everything had to be trucked in: tents, generators, trailers for staff. Sewage had to be trucked out constantly. The deliberate cruelty of the location made it extraordinarily expensive to operate. Two-thirds of the nearly 1,400 detainees held there have been classified by ICE as noncriminal. Guards have reportedly beaten and pepper-sprayed detainees who protested having their phone access cut off. A federal court filing includes a photo of a detainee with a black eye. DeSantis has called it "a success" from the start. The Trump administration — not exactly a bastion of compassion for immigrants — has concluded that it's ineffective and too costly to continue. In other words, it’s not being closed because it’s a moral outrage. It’s just more money than they want to spend. And, meanwhile, Florida taxpayers are still waiting for their $608 million back that could have funded schools, healthcare, or useful infrastructure. Please like and share this post if you think spending $1 million a day on a tent city in a swamp to punish people who haven't committed crimes is a cruel mistake that has to stop.

@DS_lives @Martina Don’t be such a simple stooge or active deceptionist. In No Way whatsoever did SPLC fund the KKK. It’s asinine to even suggest it. 🫵🤡

Israel, 18, and Max, 15, came to the U.S. legally from the Republic of Congo on student visas, pursuing their education and building their future. On April 21, they were zip-tied and taken by ICE while waiting for their school bus. No warning. Their community refused to stay silent, and now they are home. But their fight to remain in this country is far from over. Every person deserves dignity, fairness, and due process, regardless of where they come from. That is why we fight. mississippifreepress.org/israel-and-max…
