@PeteAguilar And you guys do nothing to alleviate or reduce the costs that you control. Gas tax, property tax, sales tax, all of that is not managed by Trump, but you, Newsom and other Democrats.

First the Reflecting Pool turned green with algae. Then the paint started peeling. Now it's headed for another round of repairs. Another example of misplaced priorities when Americans are focused on the rising cost of everyday life.

$600 MILLION for a vanity ballroom. $29+ BILLION for an illegal war. $300 BILLION for Iran. Even $14 MILLION for an algae-infested pool. But not a single penny for the 770,000 hungry kids in our country.
ProPublica@propublica

Almost a year after Trump’s domestic policy bill passed, at least 770,000 children are no longer receiving SNAP benefits. In Arizona, the number of children receiving SNAP has dropped by more than 200,000 since July 2025 — a 55% decline. propublica.org/article/snap-b…

@0xDavecryps And who drafts, modifies and repeals tax laws...congress, but they will then anger the wealthy elites and the politician won't get the campaign donation so here we are. Get angry at congress and not the wealthy.

Why is the outrage always aimed at immigrants who work, earn a paycheck, and pay taxes… …but somehow never at billionaires who use every loophole possible to avoid paying their fair share? Strange how the anger is directed at the people contributing, while those with the most resources often escape the criticism.

@HouseDemocrats In CA, Trump doesn't raise my property or sales tax, make gas $2 more per gallon than all other states, high auto registration fees, etc. That's all on Newsom and the Democrats that control the state.

@Lifeinvestmoney Theres usually a months security deposit and rent will cover other costs if landlord prices it correctly. Apartment and home rentals are fairly high here in LA with 1-bed apartments going for $2k+ and homes renting for $4-6k at a minimum.

Renting is ALWAYS better than buying a house As a tenant I don't have to pay for: - Maintenance - Repairs - Property taxes - Homeowner's insurance - Plumbing bills from dumping grease down my sink drain Renting is a life hack

Why is the minimum wage in America is still $7.25 since 2009?? In 2009 the minimum wage was $7.25 and a pound of beef was around $2.20 and today the minimum wage is still $7.25 but beef is $8.34?!!!!

@BillWiIdin Still enjoyed life with low cost or free entertainment like parks, beaches, some museums, and hanging out with friends. A financial gift would've certainly helped but I also have a sense of accomplishment.

Buying a house is no longer a financial milestone, it’s just a hereditary privilege. If your parents can’t afford to gift you a $50k down payment, you are essentially locked out of the market until you're 40.

They’re celebrating that he created 4,400 millionaires, but they don’t talk about the 4.5M children around the world who he possibly sentenced to death by dismantling USAID. He needs to answer for that. He needs to be subpoenaed, he needs to face investigation”

We went to a dinner as a group and had a $500 bill. We tipped $40. We were happy we can be able to give our server something, but her reaction was the opposite. She told us she assumed we're going to give her at least $120. When we asked for the manager, she said she was just joking, but she wasn't smiling at all. Idk, but is $40 tip enough for $500 bill? I just feel like expecting $120 is not realistic....

My rent is $1,335. The duplex I live in is being sold. The new landlords want $2,145. No renovations. No upgrades. Just pure profit. That's a $800 rent hike for doing nothing but buying a home someone else already lives in. This is what housing investment looks like. Greed dressed up as business. People displaced for someone else's payday. Communities gutteď so landlords can “maximize returns.” Call it what it is: exploitation.

We went out to dinner as a group and the total came to $500. We left a $40 tip, feeling like we were still contributing something, but the server didn’t seem pleased. She mentioned she was expecting closer to $120. When we asked to speak with a manager, she quickly backtracked and said she was joking, though it didn’t really come across that way. Now I’m second-guessing—was $40 on a $500 bill too low? Expecting $120 feels like a lot to me, but maybe I’m missing something.

@PramilaJayapal How come you are in Congress and have the ability to create, modify and repeal tax laws but you don't because it would impact your campaign donors that would lead to losing your jobs. Citizens over donors!

@Airaxora They dont socialize and go to bars/parties like we did in the 90s/early 2000s. They're too busy curled up in bed at home doom scrolling or texting for hours. By the time they decide to go out, they're too tired. 🤣

Biden didn’t destroy the Rose Garden. He rebuilt the economy, created over 15 million jobs, cut the deficit, lowered insulin costs, and passed historic climate & infrastructure bills. His conscience is clear and so is his record. Do you agree with me? Yes Or No
