YXE Top Lawyer says “…we do monitor it and we have specified that type of construction in areas where we thought vibration would be important to avoid.” Which YXE property owners get the benefit of low impact and which get risk of high impact construction practices for ADUs?

Prayers for Einstein. Einstein hasn't been himself lately and has been unable to even climb onto the couch without assistance. But when I ate a hamburger beside him and he never lifted his head, I knew something was wrong. Took him to University Hospital and they diagnosed him with pneumonia and he has fluid in both lungs. Due to him being 11, they admitted him and said he may be in for an extended stay. Not good. Einstein has always been the healthy one. But like, WTH, how do you just get pneumonia? Oh ya......Happy Monday.

I bought a brand new Toyota Tundra in 2007. Best move I ever made. Still driving it today, 250k miles, and it came with a lifetime warranty on engine, power train and transmission. I have barely done anything to it besides oil changes, brakes/tires, and serpentine belt. I think I replaced the starter once and a few batteries lol.

Fortunately, this poor man appears to have the financial resources to employ a team of lawyers to address his injuries. Many victims are not so fortunate. vt.tiktok.com/ZSx5n8wUj/

I think the court's understanding of the immutable nature of homelessness is wrong, but leaving that aside, there are legitimate, nondiscriminatory reasons to prevent camping on public property, particularly when it stands in the way of a public construction project.
Diana Chan McNally@DianaCMcNally

BIG news out of Kitchener-Waterloo: the Ontario Superior Court has ruled that homelessness is an analogous ground for discrimination under s.15 of the Charter. This is a BIG step toward recognizing homeless people as an equity-seeking group under the law. Governments take note!

@RevRobYXE @SKnana As a city councillor in Saskatoon, I’m relieved to know that we share this position. The good old days of law-and-order are gone and have been replaced with a more forgiving and accepting justice system that promotes understanding and acceptance that some criminals are victims.

@michaelsfirm I don’t know where it started or where it will end but it needs to stop! Right now, Canadians are trying to keep their lawfully owned private property and the government has decided, with a stroke of a pen, that since criminals use firearms… The government is out of control!

Private property is at risk in Canada only so long as the public allows it. At some point, hardworking people will say enough, and demand our politicians put an end to the graft and taking of private property to gift to various native bands.
ProbeMedia@Probe_Media_

Law professor @PardyBruce in conversation with @BridgeCityNews. Canadians don’t truly own their land outright. Property is just a bundle of legal rights — and those rights last only as long as governments and courts decide to protect them. A growing clash between Indigenous title claims and private ownership is leaving everyday Canadians wondering: who actually controls the land under their feet? By creating different legal rights based on ancestry and identity, Canada abandoned equal treatment under the law — opening the door to endless conflict and division. The ancient idea that “your home is your castle” is being dismantled. ➡️ Watch Here: youtube.com/watch?v=R0kJP9…

I'm not a doctor and cannot diagnose medical conditions from a video. Visible movement in the abdomen like this is often normal peristalsis (intestinal contractions) or muscle activity, but it can also relate to other issues. Given your esophageal cancer and ER visit, please follow up promptly with your oncologist or GI specialist for proper imaging/tests. Sorry you're dealing with this without answers yet—hope you get clarity soon.

Kathy took this video of my stomach while we were sitting in Peter Lougheed ER, hoping someone might look at it while I was there for an emergency GI for esophagael cancer. I also asked my family doctor to look at it the week before. All my requests went unheard. I came home five days later with no answers. A lump moves around on its own and kind of hurts a bit. Good thing health care is free in Canada.

Good thing Canada has *checks notes* banned plastic straws, switched to bi-weekly garbage pickup..... and charges an electronics recycling fee.

@DeanJC420 We waited for 3 days (in hospital) without any consultation. I called the Safety Hot Line to document the situation and get an incident number. Things moved very quickly after that phone call. It seems that the consultant was on holiday and neglected to forward his phone calls.

@PH_OSINT @alandrummond2 Dad was kayaking at 91 years old. He had a tough time walking down to the beach because the wheels on his walker didn’t like the sand but once he was in the kayak, he was fine!

@PH_OSINT @alandrummond2 Dad was not getting better in the hospital but he had to be there for his medication. My mother ordered a huge hospital bed and converted the main floor dining room into a new makeshift bedroom. As soon as Dad got home, he got much better! Thank goodness for the paramedics.
