🚨🇬🇧🇺🇸 UK Politician Ed Davey wants the Tax Payer to pay for an inferior product just because he didn’t like the words Elon Musk said. You are witnessing in real time who the Fascists really are - the ones that only wish to allow speech that they agree with.

I don't know who needs to hear this but saying "yourself" isn't a fancy way of saying "you". The word "yourself" is a reflexive pronoun. It's only correct when the subject and object of the verb are the same. For example “you hurt yourself.” So no, it’s not "I’m voting for yourself" or "It happened to yourself." It’s just "you". I mainly blame The Traitors for popularising this linguistic crime.

@DWokeMo @tomhfh They could still "lose their career" if they voted the wrong way electronically - the votes (as in the Scottish Parliament that has electronic voting) are not secret. So, the issue you are raising does not go away with 'modernisation'.

Voting to change the law is a weighty thing. It can affect all our lives. It can take from us our money and our freedom. It should be inconvenient for you. It should never take *three minutes* to pass *twelve* votes.
Dr Ellie Chowns MP@EllieChowns

Utterly ridiculous. 12 votes in the Commons tonight means 3 hours of tedious trudging through voting lobbies. What a total waste of time and energy when MPs could do it in 3 minutes with a modern voting system. It’s long past time to drag Parliament into the 21st century.

@tomhfh It's also irritating how they pretend this is 'modern' Electricity is quite old, and before that we could've had remote voting as soon as we got a postal service or countless other ways They vote in person because it is supposed to improve law.

BREAKING The UK is in the "fight of our times between patriotic national renewal and decline and toxic division" Sir Keir Starmer has told his Cabinet today. He told ministers that "there are people around country who will have seen scenes around the country at the march [on Saturday] led by a convicted criminal who feel intimidated due to the colour of their skin". Number 10 declined to say that the Unite the Kingdom march was "far right" More now at @GBNEWS.

Nigel Farage has consistently said that Reform UK has no intention of repealing same sex marriage, stating it’s a settled matter. He personally does not support same sex marriage, and that’s his personal opinion and that is ok. Stop scaremongering and focus on the real issues we face.
LGBT+ Conservatives@LGBTCons

Reform and Nigel Farage have made it clear that not only do they not support same-sex marriage, but that they view same-sex relationships as inferior to heterosexual relationships. Real conservatives should want same-sex couples to have loving, committed relationships.

‘This is huge.’ Christopher Hope explains why pensioners will get a £500 rise in April under Labour’s triple lock, driven by 4.7% average earnings growth. ‘There’s no pot. It’s paid by taxpayers, including ones who haven’t even started working yet!'
