@jkenney You have billions for a bogus vaccine but 0 for a high speed train we desperately needed since 50 years ago. Ok there.

@SimplyBitcoin Moron. What you claim in your post has nothing to do with the discussion. Also, even within the discussion itself, the morons on the left (time space) are not even talking about the same thing that the morons on the right (encryption) are talking about. Delete this post. Morons.

Pierre Poilievre announces that the Conservatives are against the high speed train project between Toronto and Quebec City, and if in power will cancel it; "I am confirming that a future Conservative government will cancel this $90 billion boondoggle altogether." OK so how are Conservatives planning to build world class infrastructure?

How come the Saudis maintain a pipeline operating at partial capacity ( currently full at 7mm bbl/d) as a strategic backup for contingencies, yet Canada can't even approve the construction of a new one that would take years to build, and in a weird way with a prerequisite for current pipelines to be running at full capacity at all times especially with WCS discounting…it doesn’t make sense. Let’s build !! 🇨🇦🫡🪒

1️⃣ Did you know the Maronites fought alongside the Crusaders? 🇱🇧✝️ When Crusader armies reached Lebanon in 1098, they “rediscovered” this ancient Christian people living in the mountains—ready to fight, guide, and ally with them. Let’s unpack the story. 🧵

Lebanese have lived on their ancestral lands for literally thousands of years. Throughout history, they've persevered through hundreds of wars, invasions and occupations, and have continued to live on their land, despite the enormous hardships incurred. Borders may have changed dozens of times over the course of history, but the people have remained, steadfast on their land. This is not meant to romanticize misery and suffering but to remind folks, especially non-Lebanese observers (but also some Lebanese unfortunately), that just because Israel has declared its intentions of ethnically cleansing and (permanently) occupying (or even annexing) South Lebanon doesn't mean they'll be victorious. Yes, Lebanon is facing a genocidal war machine, but people assuming Israeli success are significantly underestimating the deep-rooted connection (Southern) Lebanese have with their land, their villages, and their way of life. Israel will have a far tougher fight on their hands than many assume, and will face fierce resistance against their project as long as one Israeli boot remains on Lebanese soil. They don't get to erase thousands of years of uninterrupted life on these lands just like that.

The @CCFR_CCDAF is Canada’s “gun lobby”. We are parents and grandparents. Teachers, lawyers, cops, blue collar workers, families, etc - good, honest, law abiding, tax paying citizens who’ve done nothing wrong. Not a single criminal or crime gun is affected. Gurv@GurvSC

She talks about the gun lobby like it’s some sort of nefarious thing, do gun owners not deserve for their rights to be advocated for?

Without US-Israeli leadership, all of Europe would have ended up living under the threat of Iranian nuclear annihilation, armed with long range ballistic missiles. A threat controlled by jihadi fundamentalists who believe it is their religious obligation to accelerate the apocalypse. Like Europe’s elites in the face of Hitler’s massive military expansion in the 1930s, today’s appeasers would continue to look the other way and mumble about diplomacy until it’s too late. Europe failed to protect its Jews from Hitler. But now the descendants of the Jews who survived Hitler are protecting Europe. #AmYisraelChai
Brett McGurk@brett_mcgurk

Speaks for itself: Feb. 25, 2026: “We are not developing long-range missiles… we have limited the range below 2,000 kilometers” — Iran’s FM Araghchi (IRNA). March 20, 2026: Iran fires missiles at Diego Garcia—ranging 4,000 kilometers (WSJ). ⬇️

Two examples, both left Lebanon and moved to the West: •Gad Saad @GadSaad left Lebanon with his family out of fear for their lives. As Lebanese Jews, they were targets and had to flee to survive. He found safety in the West, built a successful career, and has used his voice to defend the system and values that gave him that opportunity. •Mario Nawfal, @MarioNawfal on the other hand, left Lebanon as a child with his family in search of a better future, not under immediate threat. Yet today, he uses his platform to undermine the same Western system that enabled his success, promoting narratives aligned with the Iranian regime against the U.S., a regime that has fueled anti-Western hostility and supported militant groups across Lebanon, Iraq, Syria, and Yemen. Two people from the same country. Two different paths. Two opposite outcomes. One chose to defend the system that protected him. The other uses that same system to attack it. That contrast says a lot about the two faces- and consequences - of immigration.

The COVID pandemic was a compliance test for an upcoming economic reset. The injections were an attempt at genetic engineering for what comes after that reset. I committed to that position years ago. I commit to it fully today. Because everything that has happened since has only confirmed it. COVID was a test run. A calibration exercise. And by every measure they were testing for… it was a stunning success. They learned that fear, delivered consistently and authoritatively enough, overrides reason. That people will surrender their movement, their businesses, their relationships, their children’s education, and their bodily autonomy if the threat is made frightening enough and the voices of dissent are silenced quickly enough. They learned that the majority will not only comply… they will enforce compliance on each other. They will report their neighbours. Cut off their families. Demand that others submit to the same fear they have submitted to, because collective compliance is the only thing that makes individual surrender feel rational. They learned that the media, the medical establishment, the regulatory agencies, and the technology platforms could be coordinated into a single unified voice and that a population trained to trust those voices would follow them into almost anything. That is what was tested. And now look at what is happening. The economic architecture is being restructured in plain sight. Digital currencies. Centralised financial control. The systematic destruction of small businesses and independent wealth. A world where your ability to transact, to travel, to participate in society can be switched off at a server somewhere by people you never elected and cannot remove. They told you unreasonable lies. And society believed them out of fear. And that fear gave them permission to do whatever they wanted to you, to your children, to your future. COVID showed them the door was open. What is coming next is them walking through it. Wake up. Not to the past. To right now. This is not over. It has barely begun. For what is to come.

Twice, the courts ruled the Liberal government’s use of the Emergencies Act was unlawful. Twice, they said the threshold wasn’t met. Now, on the very LAST possible day, the government is appealing to the Supreme Court, advancing the same arguments already rejected… not once, but TWICE. The Emergencies Act was meant to be a last resort—not a tool to bypass the law or override Canadians’ Charter rights. Conservatives will always stand for public safety—but also for freedom, accountability, and the rule of law. theglobeandmail.com/canada/article…

@ComicDaveSmith This isn't TV; there are no do-overs. IRGC isn't gonna let off if he backs down. They'll likely not open Hormuz until the removal of all regional US bases, lifting sanctions, and reparations. They won't just accept defeating Trump, they need to make it explicit & obvious

Let us NEVER forget that during COVID police in Canada stormed a Sunday family dinner and beat up Canadians in front of their elderly parents for the crime of DARING to have dinner after curfew. ... because the government told them to.

@TomMarazzo A license to kill is not Canadian. The law is fine as it is.. if you’re in the unfortunate situation where you reasonably think you had to shoot someone, then you should face a judge and explain it.
