‼️⚠️Kendrick was very specific in his choice of features for GNX - they all had 3 things in common:
1️⃣ - most of the rappers had spent time in prison-2️⃣ they were from a gang, and 3️⃣-they were from the west coast
Dot wasn’t giving them a feature to leech off their buzz, to steal their flow or swagger, or because they would help Dot sell records.
Kendrick gave them features to give them another chance at life, to let them shine on the biggest stage possible, and hopefully not return to their previous lives : some took advantage - some didnt. Specifically Dody6 - Dody6 is from 40’s ♿️ he was back on drugs, crashing out , and back to what he was doing before the feature- this in no way is Kendricks fault and is another symptom of the streets and specifically Los Angeles.
Lefty Gunplay has tried his best to remain sober and focus on his career -winning a grammy wit dot and dropping new music
AZChike has managed to stay away from the streets and has signed a record deal of his own, continues to put out music, and has an album coming soon 💿🎤💻

Dot’s biggest success is tied to the guy he envy’s and hates the most. All the hard work in the Stu overshadowed by a song about someone else. It all aged poorly.

The review argues that much of the project remains fixated on the aftermath of the Kendrick Lamar battle, pointing to recurring themes of streaming numbers, lawsuits, industry politics, and continued subliminal shots. One passage describes Drake as ‘mumbling insults at Kendrick through a mouthful of broken teeth!’

since everyone is on @Spotify's ass anyways, I want to highlight the absolute garbage metrics you force down everyone's throats. Your Monthly Listeners stat is a fraudulent ego trap. It forces a rolling 28-day window that resets, meaning an artist is only as good as their last month of desperate hustling. You value a passive, brain-dead listener who accidentally leaves a song on background mute for 30 seconds exactly the same as a dedicated superfan who keeps an album on loop & apparently thats 'unique listeners' to you. You house artists who are willing to pay you to keep them off of your sick narrative.
When millions of dedicated fans loop a track out of pure loyalty, your broken system treats those thousands of streams as a single, solitary data point. Meanwhile, if a casual listener accidentally lets a generic playlist track run for 30 seconds, you count them exactly the same. Just say you are deleting evidence atp. Your Autoplay and Radio algorithms are not neutral, organic recommendation engines.

People really saying “just connect to the internet not a big deal” my brother in Christ that’s not the point. God forbid a natural disaster happens or you can’t pay your WiFi bill one month and just can’t play games you PAID for until you reconnect.
It doesn’t matter if you have internet, it’s a matter of principle. You shouldn’t be okay with PS arbitrarily taking away access to games you spent your hard earned money on. The more comfortable you get with this the worse it will get.
