Kelvin: But not necessary for salvation in that case. If people can reach heaven without Christianity, then Christianity is irrelevant as a requirement for salvation. Oyedepo: Hmm. Kelvin: But the other option is worse. Oyedepo: Which is? Kelvin: That people who never heard the gospel are automatically condemned. Oyedepo: but The wages of sin is death. Kelvin: But they never rejected Jesus. They were simply born in the wrong place and time. They were ignorant through no fault of their own. Oyedepo: God’s ways are higher than ours. Kelvin: Then that would mean Christianity describes a being willing to punish billions of people eternally for circumstances completely outside their control. It could even be argued that evangelizing to people is more likely to take them to hell than heaven since if they could live their lives without learning about Christianity and still make heaven , learning about the gospel but rejecting it because they were not convinced would take them to hell regardless of how they lived their life. Which makes evangelism a net negative for salvation. Oyedepo: … Kelvin: So either people can be saved without Christianity…. making Christianity irrelevant for salvation…or they cannot, which makes the Christian system evil because innocent ignorance becomes grounds for eternal punishment. Tosin Eniolorunda and his co-Founder are Nigerian trained. All of the day one guys at Moniepoint are Nigerians and most of them are still with the company and doing very well. Moniepoint employ, in total, almost 30,000 Nigerians. They are a top employer in NIGERIA 🇳🇬. They pay a minimum of 75% percentile of the market. Junior Developers earn N1M monthly. Most earn N3M and some earn N4M monthly. They have people who earn around N10M monthly! Moniepoint remains one of the highest transacting companies in AFRICA. They are a world-class company. And if Moniepoint did not exist, Nigeria would have gone to CHINA, completely. Tosin must have spoken from a place of deep passion and pain because human capital in Nigeria is low. I have tweeted about this several times as well. Yes, we have good talent, but when you look at the larger population of the country, we have so much work to do. This is a FACT! By the way, Moniepoint has paid some employees a million dollar in stock options (IN CASH). And there are at least 15-20 people who work with Moniepoint in Nigeria who are dollar millionaires! So, to say they underpay or they take advantage of cheap labour is redundant and lazy talk. Again, criticisms should be fair and balanced. But Business Leaders should never shy away from shedding light on challenges across the country. PS: MONIEPOINT HAS PRODUCED A GEN Z A BILLIONAIRE!! It's very well known across Africa and beyond that if you're looking for high quality African talent that will work like their life depends on it and won't cost an arm and a leg, you go to Nigeria. Nigeria lacks lots of things, but qualified, talented people who are ready to work their ass off are not among them. I've seen it first hand. Except you're looking for an astronaut, there is literally no vacancy you cannot fill in Nigeria. Anyone who says they "couldn't fill job openings" in Nigeria is a bloody liar.
