@AstralDepthsTR @TheTrueBrenden Exactly! And that's the main point of the forth one; Woody forcing himself on a role he's no longer responsible for, and then deciding to put himself first for once (nothing wrong with that, since no one was affected by him being "selfish"). Many people wanted him to be miserable
English

@TheTrueBrenden What? He says that they need to be there for Andy but his final decision in the film completely contradicts that, because they don't actually need to be there for Andy anymore.
The entire point of the movie is that Woody was wrong and that he needed to move on.

@TS4_JLcut Yeah it's nice, and I'm sure it'd have worked; but it's too "the video of the dead wife the protagonist sees at the start of the movie" imo... For me, the final version isn't as cliché 😅

@D_iagu @revrookington That is not Woody's character, what you're literally describing is the plot of TS2 if Woody decided to abandoned Andy and went to Japan, but I'm not surprise you said that since TS4 is literally just a shitty nostalgia slop with zero respect for previous movies.

I want Gabby to get the Losto treatment more than any toy in the series. She literally destroyed Woody. No more "reach for the sky" no more "there's a snake in my boot". Couldn't even keep the string as an aesthetic. $2000 toy destroyed All because of Gabby.

Gabby was never the villain. She just wanted to be loved

@el_yorch00 @contxtsonic @revrookington Sadly I haven't had the chance to see to shorts, so I'm going off of the movies only; I didn't find it hard to believe that although on the 3rd Bonnie loved Woody, on the 4th she preferred other toys from Andy, as she wasn't bound to love Woody or care for him as Andy did +
English

@ExtremeShou1 @revrookington In the end, Woody learnt to pass on his responsbility, & live for himself; he felt his duty to Bonnie had been fulfilled, and Buzz & Jesse could take over, and that's valid too; it's not fair for him to be bound by a duty he was maintaining for Forky, and even forcing on himself
English

@ExtremeShou1 @revrookington Woody giving it up it's his character, prioritizing his kid over himself; he knew Forky's worth, and his own in the eyes of Bonnie. Just rewatched the montage, and she plays with Woody 1 time, for a split second, and one can assume it's only because Woody was looking after Forky
English

@ExtremeShou1 @revrookington He passed on his voice box so another toy could live what he already lived with Andy. He passed on the responsibility of Bonnie to Buzz and Jessie. He decided to say bye to his friends. Bo knew the outside, or at least the shop, better than him. Bonnie didn't really care for him
English

@D_iagu @revrookington He lost his voice box, he lost his purpose of never giving up on his kid like Andy said when he passed him on to Bonnie, he lost his friends and family just to go with the girl that patronize him for the entire movie, Bonnie was still attached to him in the movie btw
English

@contxtsonic @revrookington Yeah... I guess most of that kind of plot holes in the movies are explained with "kids are reckless, messy, forgetful, etc" that's how they justified when Bo invited Woody to go with her when they bought her
English

@D_iagu @revrookington That’s true but i feel like eventually bonnie would have to notice even if it wasn’t until she’s older
