As your self-worth grows, your standards change naturally. You stop chasing people who are unsure about you. You stop shrinking to keep the peace. You stop explaining your heart to those who only value it when it is convenient for them. You begin to understand that real love should not require you to betray yourself. It should not leave you constantly questioning your value or begging for the bare minimum. Healthy love can still challenge you, but it will not ask you to disappear in order to keep it. Heal the relationship you have with yourself, and everything around you begins to change.
