Há um problema severo de falta de sangue em Portugal. Portugal perdeu quase 10.000 dadores desde 2017 e a segurança do sistema de saúde não pode depender de gestos pontuais. Cirurgias, urgências, tratamentos oncológicos, transplantes: tudo isto exige reservas estáveis e dadores regulares. A Iniciativa Liberal apresentou um projeto para valorizar quem dá sangue de forma regular: direito a um dia extra de férias para quem dá sangue duas vezes por ano, direito a dois dias extra de férias para quem dá sangue três ou mais vezes por ano. Estes dias adicionais de férias serão atribuídos a trabalhadores do setor privado e público e serão pagos pelo Estado. É a melhor forma de resolver um problema urgente. Dar sangue salva vidas. Há vidas para salvar.

Enough is enough. Today, @D_Tarczynski, @RealDonKeith, @AdaLluch, @JoeyMannarino and I have formally instructed our lawyer, @Fr_Gargallo, to issue a Letter of Claim to @Keir_Starmer. The letter demands that he immediately retract his defamatory statements in which he labelled us “far-right agitators” who wish to incite violence. Should he fail to comply, we reserve all our legal rights to pursue further action against him.
