@hodler2017 @BasilTheGreat Well, yes... its not a like for like trade of debt. Argentina has a fiscal surplus which may help reduce overall debt. If you borrow 60 and usenit to refi or roll debt, at least the overall debt does not increase. I believe the overalll debt did decrease somewhat in 2025.

@BasilTheGreat Lots of economic misunderstanding here. Overall Argentina debt reduced somewhat over 2025 from its peak in March. Foreign debt increased indeed but used to ReFi or roll some outstanding debt. Overal debt to gdp is around 80% i believe, which is not great but not terrible.

USA sanctions to the EU are unlikely as the US itself would be hit hard as well. I hope they dont quit NATO though because they are a great partner.

@NXT4EU I think you are missing out slightly on all the ridiculous tax measures taken across Europe - including the latest one in my home country the Netherlands. If the EU truly wanted to stimulate investments, all it needs to do is abolish 'wealth tax', capital gains tax' etc.

The EU critics are literally insane. First they say investments in Europe need to go up, but when EU does something for it, they also complain. Food for thought, they will complain about anything the EU does, even if it is a good thing they promoted prior themselves.

@clashreport It's not just about operating systems, it's about parts. Dutch "think" they can make them themselves. But when parts malfunction, you think you'll find compatible ones on Amazon or ebay in the time you need it. Who's making them...
