@leRaffl According to the Tesla center it’s extremely common for their newer models to fail because inspectors don’t bother asking about the VIN. Inspections are 99% bullshit and politics honestly.

When you hear about Teslas failing mandatory TÜV inspections in Germany, remember it is NOT because they are badly built or unsafe cars. Rather, it's because of bullshit like this. They failed him at first because they couldn't find the VIN 🤦🏻‍♂️ You can't make this shit up.

@itskyleconner @RoamingNorway Feels like the pricing is off if this holds true. I really appreciate what BMW is doing here but 60K would really not be great. That is competing with i4. It should really be closer to the 45K like the CLA. 60K should be shooting brake/tourer territory.

@InsideChinaAuto He didn’t really mention it being the best 3 row SUV though. In all honesty, it’s a great Model Y that’s really practical for families. People want it globally plus it’s super fun to drive. But yeah, much more practical 3 rows in China.

@mikegapinski Best choice, I got a premium RWD M3 with front cam, stalks and CATL 6M a few months ago via the inventory page. Very happy with this decision! Charging is actually quite decent and degradation minimal!

@mikegapinski CATL 6M is quite decent. Holds 184kW until quite far into the charging curve and then rapidgates depending on the starting temp. It’s definitely the best pack available plus degradation is minimal vs the NMC packs. Not much hope for those EU 4680 packs atm unfortunately…

What’s the „best” battery configuration in M3/MY atm in Europe at the moment when it comes to the charging curve? MY Standard? M3 RWD? Up for an adventure, but I have never owned LFP and we park outside so I am a bit worried? I am thinking about looking at yet another hedgehog. I could go standard - no problem, I am just concerned about the manual steering column, that’s the only annoying bit.

@Hilbe I honestly don’t know if it still makes sense to enter the European market. There are so many BEV options and many more coming soon. It would only make sense under a big VW umbrella as the brand is completely unknown over here. I think we won’t see Rivian in EU until R3.

@YTJustGetATesla There is no BYD that will charge at that speed in Europe. Current max is a bit over 200kWh with the new 800V Atto3. There is talk of a Denza Z9T launch in Europe but still need to see pricing or actual orders (it’s going to be over 100k btw).
