History will not remember those who remained in comfortable offices debating Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3. It will remember the people who took the message into the dust, the remote and neglected corners of the Republic and made sure every citizen received the information they were owed. Dr Paul Tungwarara @Tungwararaparod chose to be one of those people. Let’s be clear. Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3 is not a partisan tool for a select few. It is the legislative foundation of Zimbabwe’s ED2030 vision, a framework intended to consolidate the Second Republic’s achievements and embed the structural reforms needed for the country’s development goals. Opponents are entitled to their views, but they do not have the right to leave citizens uninformed, confused, or shut out of the national dialogue. That gap is where Dr Tungwarara stepped in, and that is why his role matters. When the Parliamentary Public Hearings on CAB3 were announced, many voiced support from the safety of podiums and press conferences. Dr Tungwarara took a different approach. He organised off-road vehicles, paid for fuel, and coordinated logistics across all ten provinces. He did not wait for thanks or recognition he acted because the work had to be done. The mobile outreach model his team used was not a token gesture. It was a purposeful, well-structured civic education campaign to make sure rural and peri-urban communities often the last to receive national information, understood what CAB3 contains, what it means, and why it matters for their futures. The reported 97 percent endorsement at the Public Hearings was no accident; it grew out of people being informed. Informed citizenship requires someone to bear the cost of spreading information. Some critics will dismiss the branding of Dr Tungwarara’s private helicopter with “I say yes to Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3” as mere spectacle. It is not. It is a declaration. When a private individual uses personal resources—not state funds or party money—to carry a national message across Zimbabwe, it reflects conviction. That kind of unequivocal commitment separates true patriots from convenient ones. He attached no conditions to his support and made no demands on the state; he invested in the Republic. Dr Tungwarara’s involvement with CAB3 fits a broader pattern of practical philanthropy that has characterized his contributions under President Dr E.D. Mnangagwa. From the Presidential Empowerment Fund’s borehole drilling that brings clean water to communities, to the Village Business Units that foster grassroots economic dignity, the Muroodzi river rehabilitation, and the refurbishment of national health facilities like Parirenyatwa and Mpilo—his record is consistent. He does not only theorize about development; he finances it, carries it out, and is accountable for it. This is the profile of the person leading CAB3 outreach: not a career politician seeking advancement, not a bureaucrat following orders, but a builder, someone whose instinct when confronted with a national need is to provide the resources and get to work. The alignment between Dr Tungwarara’s actions and President Mnangagwa’s vision is clear to anyone paying honest attention. The President speaks of a Zimbabwe that works, where governance is responsive, development is tangible, and no citizen is left behind. Dr Tungwarara brings that vision to life at the grassroots, consistently and at personal cost. @Mug2155 @HonSakupwanyaK

In the ruling party @ZANUPF_Official, once a resolution is made, it's considered binding on all members, who are expected to support & implement it. This is based on the party's principle of "One Party, One Voice" and the concept of collective responsibility. #Discipline #Unity

The fuel prices in Zimbabwe are not caused by the USA, Israel - Iran war. They are caused by greedy people among us. Billy Rautenbach needs to explain how Ethanol, which is a waste product from sugar production, gets to $1.10 per Litre. Ethanol is not made from crude oil. It is produced locally, and blending fuel is meant to reduce carbon dioxide concentration and to increase quantity, reducing the price of fuel, but in Zimbabwe, Ethanol is now costing more than petrolatum that is imported. Billy Rautenbach is driving inflation and causing the poor people to suffer. Transport prices went up and so will be goods and services. This must be stopped ASAP. #FuelPricesMustFall

We, the citizens, have become aware of arbitrary arrests targeting civil society and student leaders throughout the nation, for exercising their right to peacefully and lawfully express their dissent against the infringement of the country's highest law - the constitution. We firmly oppose these arrests and appeal to Mr. Mnangagwa to respect the citizens' constitutionally guaranteed rights to freedom of association and speech. We caution Mr. Mnangagwa against further provocation of citizens. The consequences of this will not be favorable @nelsonchamisa

Zinara is taking steps to boost road maintenance in Zimbabwe. They're prioritizing equipping local road authorities with necessary machinery, reducing reliance on costly outsourcing. This move aims to speed up road repairs and improve infrastructure quality.
