@RedcliffeScott @paulhutcheon In less the baby is in another word, the mum is not alone. She’s with the couple’s child and after however many hours of labour is expected to look after their newborn on her own, not great conditions for recovery. That ain’t right. Dads can take their turn then

@paulhutcheon I guess postnatal is different, but unless there are medical reasons to extend stay I think a quick turnaround is necessary and Dads can be there for extended visiting hours. But all night with other mums around? They deserve time alone so unless private toom then not so sure.
