4 scandals in one:
1) No technology should be that low over a pitch that a normal goal kick can hit it. The field of play should not have an upper bound.
2) Chip-in-ball (Snicko) as means of arbitration and evidence after a first dubious case (CRO offside v POR) is now obviously at least flawed (at most used in an actively manipulative way).
3) Concretely the first England goal v Norway was clearly illegal.
4) FIFA still in full but helpless cover-up mode.

So paredes was given yellow for a foul, but then they found that embolo simulated, so he gets a yellow. Mistaken Identity, no?

This sensor detected a Croatian player touching a ball that no camera on Earth saw him touch: GOAL DISALLOWED.

I’ve not seen another angle of this (twitter informs me there’s one that makes the contact obvious) but Gordon starts his run early and doesn’t deviate. Why would he if it wasn’t apparent from early in the ball’s trajectory that the ball was going to land where it did?

We saw this process in the USA vs Paraguay match (Ream vs Embolo).
This is clear simulation and the yellow card gets reversed to the correct player.
