Additive emissive shapes can provide a unique aesthetic to create dreamlike visuals - soft, surreal, and glowing - while keeping things fast and lightweight in render. This method uses @OTOY Octane’s Universal Material inside @MaxonVFX C4D with IOR set to 1, Thin Wall transmission, and emissive color without shadows. No light bounce. Just glow. Perfect for particles, motion design, or ambient accents in stylized worlds.
