All problems are downstream from human imperfections & assumed rationality! Truth: humans are imperfect and irrational in the core. life cannot be explained rationally. Rationality is a tool; a front to hide our own irrationality from ourselves & others. So, what do you believe?

I spent time in Shenzhen last year and when I saw Merz come back from China saying Germans need to work more I immediately knew what broke his brain because I lived the exact same cognitive shock my first week in Huaqiangbei I burned through 4 prototype iterations of a motor controller board for less than a thousand bucks total, back home a friend was working on something similar and spent over 12 thousand for a single revision that took almost two months to arrive when you live that contrast in your own hands with your own project something permanently shifts in how you see the world and it goes way deeper than speed & cost what Shenzhen actually built is a collective learning organism, imagine 20 PCB fabs 15 injection mold shops 30 component distributors and a hundred firmware freelancers all within a 2km radius, looks insanely redundant from the outside until you realize redundancy is actually information density in disguise I watched this firsthand with an injection mold supplier I was working with, this guy had seen a hundred founders iterate similar thermal designs over 6 months so he proactively modified his tooling before I even opened my mouth, he knew what I needed before I knew what I needed, the intelligence lives in the relationships between the nodes and it compounds daily the west thinks about manufacturing as a cost center you optimize by centralizing… China accidentally built a distributed neural network of manufacturing intelligence where knowledge diffuses horizontally across thousands of agents faster than any single western company can process internally so when Merz comes back and says we need to work a bit more I think he saw the problem but COMPLETELY misdiagnosed the solution, telling Germans to work harder is like telling a horse to gallop faster when the other side built a combustion engine the gap is ARCHITECTURAL it’s ecosystem density, you need a custom connector in Shenzhen you walk 200 meters, in Munich you send an email and wait 3 weeks it’s iteration speed, parallel search vs sequential optimization at the system level, it’s risk tolerance, Chinese founders ship something broken on Monday fix it Tuesday ship again Wednesday while European companies are still in the approval phase for the pilot program of the feasibility study… and Merz only saw the surface, what he missed is the tier 2 cities like Hefei Chengdu Wuhan replicating the Shenzhen model at scale right now BYD going from irrelevant to outselling every european automaker combined in roughly 5 years, Huawei building its own 7nm chip under maximum sanctions when every analyst said it was physically impossible & behind all of that a government that treats advanced manufacturing as an existential national priority while europe debates whether AI needs another ethics committee I think what we’re watching is the most asymmetric economic competition in modern history and most western leaders are still framing it as a productivity problem when it’s actually an ontological one Europe & America are optimizing variables that China stopped tracking years ago meanwhile China is compounding on dimensions the west has no framework to even measure Merz at least had the courage to name it out loud and I respect that genuinely but working a bit more inside a broken architecture just means you arrive at the wrong destination slightly faster

NEW: 🇩🇪🇨🇳 German Chancellor Merz says Germans need to work more in order to match China: “We are simply no longer productive enough. Each individual may say, “I already do quite a lot.” And that may be true. But when you return from China, ladies and gentlemen, you see things more clearly. With work-life balance and a four-day week, long-term prosperity in our country cannot be maintained. We will simply have to do a bit more.”

There was a farmer who grew excellent quality corn. Every year he won the prize for the best corn grown. One year, a reporter interviewed him and discovered something interesting about the way he grew corn. The reporter discovered that the farmer shares his seeds with his neighbors. "Why does he share his best seeds with his neighbors if every year they compete with his own?" the reporter asked him. "Why, sir?" the farmer replied, "didn't you know? The wind picks up the pollen from the ripe corn and swirls it from one field to another. If my neighbors grow inferior corn, cross-pollination will constantly degrade the quality of my corn. If I want to grow good corn, I must help my neighbors grow good corn." The same is true of our lives. Those who want to live good and meaningful lives must help enrich the lives of others, because the value of a life is measured by the lives it touches, and those who choose to be happy must help others find happiness, because the well-being of each is linked to the well-being of all.

Crash Course in Molecular Biology… for my fellow Christians. 🚨Everyone else can keep scrolling…🚨 Before we talk faith, let’s talk science… raw, objective molecular biology. Every living cell depends on nine mandatory stages of DNA replication, each performed by precision-built molecular machines. These stages are not optional… not gradual… not the kind of thing random chemistry “figures out.” They are required all at once. 1… Origin recognition… 2… Helicase unwinding… 3… Single-strand stabilization… 4… Primase placement… 5… Polymerase extension with error-checking… 6… Sliding clamp loading… 7… Leading/lagging strand coordination… 8… Ligase sealing… 9… Topoisomerase tension relief… Remove one… the system collapses. Life ends. This is not evolution building complexity slowly. This is an integrated, interdependent replication engine that must be fully operational from the first moment a cell exists. And here is the scientific dagger that no atheist biologist can escape… You cannot have DNA replication without proteins. You cannot have proteins without translation. You cannot have translation without the ribosome. You cannot have the ribosome without dozens of proteins that only exist after translation. The machinery requires the machinery to build the machinery. Abiogenesis cannot solve that circularity. Random chemistry cannot either. Given Earth’s timeline, the probability of a functional self-replicating cell emerging by accident is mathematically zero. I said ZERO! So no… life did not “just happen.” The informational complexity of even a single cell is beyond anything the universe can produce without intention. You hear that? When the Word says The Almighty spoke life into existence… the molecular data agrees. This is why believers have nothing to apologize for. Science isn’t the enemy of faith… it is the revelation, the fingerprint of God written at nanoscopic scale. #AStoneGroove

@balajis One may day, capitalism helps, but needs to be kept on a leash for the common good, which demands a watchful state. In the westernized modern modern it’s capitalism having all states on a leash.

The Party still maintains total power, but it's flipped from Maoist ("Destroy The Four Olds") to ultra-nationalist ("Great Rejuvenation of Chinese Nation") Roughly: it's nationalist socialist at home, and internationalist capitalist abroad (via exports) x.com/honkhonnk/stat…

How did China go from Maoist to capitalist? Well, Deng took power in 1978. He inherited a brainwashed agrarian communist state. And couldn't reform the whole country at once. So...he set up a few key zones on China's coast. He fenced them off, and introduced capitalism. Of course, that worked. With success, he gained political capital. He used that to expand the special economic zones. These zones had a new social contract. He'd essentially refounded China — but fractally. Those zones expanded till they took over the old China. And that's how China went from Maoist to capitalist.

This was Jimmy Schepers. At a festival in Amsterdam, the 21-year old Dutchman tried to intervene when his sister was being assaulted by a gang of Africans. The Africans then stabbed Jimmy to death. Two of his friends were also stabbed but survived. Today, the three Africans were sentenced to only 6 months, 18 months and 14 years of jail for the killing of Jimmy, the wounding of his friends and for two violent robberies they committed at the same festival prior to the killing. They received these very lenient sentences because the judge argued they were "zwakbegaafd", which is a politically correct Dutch way of saying they have low IQ's. Jimmy is just one of thousands of European victims of the Great Replacement. In 2025, we wil fight for remigration, in their honour.

If you think that saying "I repent and I love Jesus now" is a get-out-of-hell free card that entitles you to be treated as if you never sinned, you're not really a Christian and Jesus would be disgusted by your foolishness. The reason I stay away from Christianity is not because of the religion itself, but because it's full of dumb boobs who break into big, neighborly Ned Flanders grins and have salvation parties when a whore or a fraud puts an "I repented" sticker on the pile of money they got from sinning, keeps it, and then abuses the trust of the "nice = moral" churchtards who happily enable the crimes of these worms to appear holier-than-thou. “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven." - Matthew 7:21 “Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves. Be ye therefore wise as serpents and harmless as doves." - Matthew 10:16 If you are not, like a serpent, wise enough to spot the wolves, you do not do the will of your father in heaven. You spot them by hearing them say 'Lord, Lord,' and then not doing his will. This is not even difficult, you just don't want to do it because you only say you're Christian as a moral posturing strategy to gain social status, and actually doing Christian things (like I'm doing right now) is not popular because it's not "nice."

@ASterling @DanielT58311369 I‘m with you! Putting everything on „climate change“ the way it is propagandized globally is too reductionist. It doesn’t solve anything! I‘d even dare to say that the current approach even makes it worse. We propose general solutions for local problems.

The climate change argument is a global/social "Marketing" effort to capitalize (love that word) on the very real environmental problems that come from the way industrialized society deals with how people live, from food production to transportation to commerce, to waste and refuse, to jobs. The fires are out of control because the high winds in January are unprecedented in recorded history. No matter when they occurred, without water, firefighters can't defend and it's not "Karen Bass' fault". Maybe Native Americans know of this phenomenon. But nobody can ask the ones who are deceased & the survivors know to care for themselves as much as possible and not volunteer to "help" those who would further exploit and harm them and their property. Like I know not to ever give another second of my time or work to people who could not care less what happens to any one or thing other than their own selves.
