I've been asking people what it means to be "AI fluent".
@benblumenrose gave me the best definition I've heard:
He says it’s not about the tools at all, but knowing what to do with "I wonder if."
At @designerfund he sees how 50+ design teams are actually adopting AI.
We got into what happens when decent becomes default, why the T-shaped designer is about to get a lot wider, and why he's keeping his kids away from AI right now.
"Build the instincts before the amplifiers."

what does a top 1% portfolio look like?
I interviewed @msllrs to get a behind-the-scenes of the portfolio that got him hired as a designer at @Lovable 👀
He shares some really tactical mental models that I think everyone can benefit from 👇

Discovered this fun little emoji celebration microinteraction easter egg for being the 67th like on one of @designertom's YouTube shorts — thx for the unexpected surprise @YouTube ! 🤷♂️ 🎊
Design's best trendspotter is @ridd_design.
- He drives industry dialog with @joindiveclub
- He changes the way designers work with @inflight
- He spotlights designers, tools and trends early
I spent two days with him to learn how he does it.
One of the most important questions he asks: What should exist?
It's a question I asked before embarking on this series going backstage with some of the industry's most talented people.
This is the first episode.
What I learned was a lot different than what I thought I would.
I enjoy the iMessage ecosystem, which is largely why I'm on iOS. The latest iOS update seems to be a pretty significant step backwards to me in terms of functionality and ease of use. Am I the only one that feels this way? I wish I could revert to the older version.
Fuck it.

They also have paid options on there as well
I need a photo of a mega-gigantic container ship (the bigger and more containers the better) and I don't want to use AI to make one. Does anyone have a photo I could license in exchange for American Dollars?
The ever continuing evolution of @Framer continues to impress. Big updates today including vector editing & collections (aka "vector sets "). One step closer to designing everything in Framer (from concept to full-fledged design systems)
