I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt. I think she's just facing the truth regarding how we get older and become less relevant in our fields. After retirement, have you ever stopped in one of your former duty assignments and have no one or very few know who you are? Well, you probably haven't but I have and it's a little sad 😉.
