@RealWayneKerr95 @commie_trucker No, I’m describing most of society. The fact you want to imply it’s only rich people shows what a true partisan idiot you are. Are you capable of thinking outside your political bubble?

I’m 43 now. I’ve worked 50-70 hours a week my entire adult life. I’ve lost years of time with my children and loved ones just so we could afford to live. This life is not only cruel, but unnecessarily cruel. A better world is possible.

@RealWayneKerr95 @commie_trucker No it’s not. Humans are flawed and there will always be those just take without contributing. Not to mention the lack of incentive to innovate, or to risk capital on new, better ways to do things.

@DanShaughn @commie_trucker That’s because the ruling class subverts communism for their own gain. True communism is workable in theory.

@NancySinatra I suggest you move to Mexico and “try “ the universal healthcare she mentions. The reality you live will teach to quit being a stupid communist. Your dad would NOT be proud.

@NOUVEAUXDEBUTS @StoriesBySammi @mojoatelier They aren’t strip mining the boundary waters. The mine will be several miles from there. The BWCA will be untouched. Just another lie from your environmental Nazis.

Over a million acres of pristine wilderness lakes in Minnesota. The most visited canoe country in America. Generations of families have paddled it, fished it, camped it. The Senate just sold it out outright. They called it "America First." Then handed it to a Chilean billionaire — so his company can ship the copper to China. The Senate voted 50-49 to gut 20 years of Boundary Waters mining protections. Here's the deal they made. A Chilean billionaire's company digs the mine. America can't smelt the copper — we don't have the capacity. So the ore ships to China. China processes it. Sells it on the world market. Chile keeps the profits. Minnesotans don't even get the jobs. Minnesota keeps the pollution. And Americans get to buy it back from China at full market price. This same company has a documented history at their Chilean mines: pipeline spills, regulatory fines, and locals fighting back for years. They paid a former Trump Interior Secretary $380K. The protection died by one vote. Here's exactly how it happened — and who made it happen. Who do YOU think this mine actually serves? #DemsUnited

@addictcoaching @spencertbarber You are correct. The Politicians only care about those that fund them and those they can buy votes from. Most of us in the middle get screwed on both ends.

@spencertbarber Bro, there is no longer a middle class. The rich keep getting exponentially richer due to tax policies, the non working folks grab entitlements for nothing, And the working class (middle class) pay for both groups and continue to get F—

The economy is splitting in two. Yesterday I toured a new gym in town charging $500/month. They offer blood work, recovery, and concierge-style fitness, but most people are really paying for exclusivity. They haven’t even opened yet and they’re already 25% sold out. Later that same day, I talked to a family friend who has owned restaurant chains for 25 years. He told me they are seeing the highest rate of declined credit cards at the register they’ve ever seen. Higher than 2008.

@Provokethoughtz Why would a dumbfuck from Nigeria care about tax rates in the US. Maybe because they are such a failure they have to worry about taxes on foreign countries? Get a life.

Jeff Bezos says people are ‘vilifying the rich.’ Meanwhile, many Amazon warehouse workers rely on government assistance just to afford food and rent. If your workers can’t survive while you build a fortune, maybe they’re recognizing the problem.

You reduce crime by eliminating poverty. The reason so called nice neighborhoods have lower crime rates is because people’s basic needs are being met. It is not because of police, alarm systems, or neighborhood associations. Poverty creates crime.

@PramilaJayapal Let me fix this for you: The government no longer allows race to be a deciding factor in determining voting districts or getting hired. If you think that is a bad thing then it’s you that is the racist.

What this administration is doing to civil rights in America is deeply distressing — and we have to say so clearly. The Trump DOJ has rolled back enforcement of the Voting Rights Act. They've changed the standard so that discrimination now has to be proven "intentional" before the government will act. That sounds technical. It isn't. It means communities that have faced systemic, structural discrimination for generations are now on their own. This is part of a broader pattern: gutting civil rights protections, dismantling oversight, and daring us to prove that any of it was deliberate. We know what this is. And members of Congress on both sides of the aisle need to stand up and say so. Watch this clip, share it, and make sure people in your network understand what is being taken from us right now.

@kaelaberg News flash: raising taxes and giving it to illegals is. It going to help those farmers or small businesses. Your platform doesn’t fix anything. Just because you say it, doesn’t mean it’s true.

Yesterday, I talked with voters & small business owners at the Prior Lake Farmers Market. Minnesota family farms & small businesses are being crushed by rising costs fueled by Trump’s war in Iran & reckless tariffs. We need leaders who will fight for working people in Congress.

My constituent Andrea has been living with an untreated ovarian cyst the size of a softball while in ICE detention. Earlier this month, I went to El Paso to hear from her directly. She told me she is still in immense pain, and despite doctors familiar with her case confirming she needs surgery, ICE is still denying that fact. Andrea’s story is a prime example of the cruelty and inhumane treatment detainees across our country are experiencing. We need to stop funding this out-of-control agency until serious reforms are implemented. texastribune.org/2026/05/20/el-…

@simonmaechling Here’s the thing. Science is never “fully” decided. That’s the point of science. However pilots and taxi drivers have been fully qualified to transport us. That and we have strong recency bias to the fact that recent claims have been proven to be false. Fool me once…

We trust pilots to fly us. We trust taxi drivers to drive us. We trust influencers selling detox recipes. But when scientists speak about vaccines, chemistry or pesticides, suddenly people reject expertise and think their internet search is equivalent to 20 years of research.

When I worked at Sears in the early 90's, the people there built entire lives off those jobs. The guy running appliances had three kids, coached little league every weekend, and retired after 32 years with a pension. One of the women in customer service bought her first house working full-time there, and the older guy in hardware took the same vacation to the Ozarks every summer because he could actually afford to unplug for a week. The managers knew everybody by name, the Christmas bonuses actually meant something, and the store was packed every holiday season because business was booming. Nobody thought they were "stuck" working retail - it was honest work that paid enough to live with dignity. Somewhere along the way, corporations started making record profits while the people keeping the place running could barely afford rent. When exactly did a steady full-time job stop being enough to build a normal life?

Congress is full of millionaires bought out by corporations who know the value of their stock portfolio better than the price of groceries, healthcare, & gas. It's time working class Minnesotans have real representation in Congress.
