@FabrizioRomano And we’re going to give everything to stop the cheating Argies & FIFA getting their dream scenario. Of all the world teams I’ve the biggest grudge against them, never forgiven them for WC86 or Simeone’s cheating in 98. England remembers & we’ll deliver revenge on Wednesday!

England reverting to type. None of the character and effort of the Mexico game. Just diving and cheating on a grand scale. Easy to no like this team.

@Sam__LUFC @UTDEmerson @JacobsBen Same here so even if it did graze a cable it likely had no impact on where ball landed. Hardly like it happened in their area either, it landed in our half FFS! 😆

FIFA say “no peak on the graph” to suggest the ball hit a camera cable in the build up to England’s goal. Norway fuming, and their position backed up by replays. Under the rules, play should have been stopped.🎥

@christianholum @NCHammer1980 You don’t know that, he pushed him 2 handed & compare sizes of the 2. Key thing is Haaland shoving him over contributed to a subsequent goal, which is why VAR were right to call it.

I know people hate England and can't stand the fact they've won the game and are in the semis, but I'm dumbfounded by the number of people seriously claiming that Haaland's push isn't a foul.

@chris_sutton73 It’ll very tough, 🇦🇷 lucky so far but have star quality in team & are very streetwise, add FIFA favouritism on top & will very tough for 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿. We’ll need to be better than yesterday to win & hope they don’t get further VAR help/bias.

England getting Argentina over Switzerland is like winning a watch. The World Cup final beckons. Argentina are average… Switzerland would have been a much tougher test…

@NCHammer1980 And the weird obsession over a wire leading to Englands 1st goal, why ignoring the complete fluke of their own 1st goal.

@chris_sutton73 I think it’s going to be tough because @FIFAcom have bent over backwards for them all tournament to pander to Messi & I am sure that will continue on Wednesday. FIFA have already fixed it for Argentina to “win” the World Cup much like they did in 2022

So long story short: Norway dominated, England got lucky, and FIFA had the final say 💔 Incredible effort by our boys reaching the quarter-finals. So proud of them! See you next time. All for Norway! 🇳🇴⚔️♥️

@Carl_M79 @HACKETTREF Look at the penalty giving to Argentina when they played Egypt. The Argentine player did the same thing as Spence did but the penalty was still given after VAR.

@FabrizioRomano @krakenfx Sorry Messi, sorry France, sorry Spain… the script is written. England are winning the World Cup 2026 and there’s NOTHING you can do about it. We’re coming for that trophy and we’re not leaving New York without it. It’s coming HOME baby!

Very disappointed of course Couple of situations where I think we were not fair treated - ball hits wire before 1-1. VAR takes away a goal for us. But ok. Not England’s fault. They won the game. And I congratulate all my English friends. Will support you rest of the World Cup

@JanAageFjortoft 🇳🇴 were great, better team on the night overall but Bellingham the difference. Dubious calls affected both teams & 1st 🇳🇴 goal was a fluke so you shouldn’t feel hard done by. Haaland pushed Anderson over then challenged for the ball, right decision to disallow 2nd goal

@Prominent_Bryan Desperate take! No mention of the fluke Norway goal in 1H or the lucky overturn of England penalty in ET, or the foul on Kane in the build up to the 1st goal. You lost, we won, suck it up.

So England's goal shouldn't have counted (the ball touched the cable of the camera; the Norwegians saw it and complained but the ref ignored it) and then the ref disallowed a Norwegian goal for a 'foul' that happens on every corner and is never called Fifa want England in the semi

Absurd decision to overrule Norway’s second goal for Haaland pushing back on Anderson ahead of a goal where the England midfielder would have had no impact on the eventual finish. Once again FIFA VAR favours the bigger nation. #NORENG #WorldCup
