I’m tired of all of this bull and scare tactics on Age Verification. I’ve been in AI for 25 years, held above TS clearances, mentored and worked with numerous companies in security and compliance. I’ve worked with non profits and groups rooting out horrific abuse of children and seen where ‘privacy’ was invoked to keep law enforcement from getting access to the phones of terrorists AFTER they had killed people. Here’s the truth: Modern tech approaches don’t require any persistence at all of someone’s ID. It’s just a lie. Zero Knowledge Proof approaches makes the risk basically zero. Those that say it isn’t enough actually have to make a case that any presentation of proof is a burden (so they are basically anarchists). And moreover - nearly all of these companies know who you are and what you like and do more than your family does. It’s their business model. It’s wrong and we should have had a real privacy law a long time ago. They don’t need laws to know more about you.They just don’t want liability when they have kids illegally on their platforms and hide behind the ‘actual knowledge standard’ to avoid paying for the harms they occur. They want to shape the AV laws now that the public is waking up to the truth around the world. They want to shape the new laws and put bad ones in place of good new ones so they can delay the reckoning for longer. It has nothing to do with knowing more about you. Zero. Everyone arguing otherwise is either paid off, a useful idiot, or a degenerate anarchist that thinks that defiling childhood is part of ‘freedom.’ They don’t realize that freedom to survive requires a moral society - that respects human dignity. Without that there will be no respect for privacy or protection against exploitation. PS- Whats really hilarious is it’s totally intellectually incoherent to be for the SAVE Act or any form of voterID and against modern AV tech.

Porn is so pervasive now that it is near impossible for young women to find a man who doesn’t use it or who wasn’t malformed by early encounter. It changes people. One single woman told me through tears that “porn ruins everything.” God made men wonderful. But please understand the destructive power of this beast. If we want to save the family, focus here. Not because of what happened to him. Because I looked at a picture of my own children on the wall across the room. And I thought about every screen in my house. Every app I never opened. Every conversation I never asked about. Every night, my kids were in their rooms on devices I paid for, connected to platforms I never checked, talking to people I never met. And I realized something that made me sick. I've been so busy carrying my own silence that I almost missed what was happening right in front of me. Let me tell you what's happening. Right now — tonight — there are grown men on Roblox, Discord, VR Chat, and a dozen other platforms your children use every single day. They have playbooks. Not metaphorical playbooks. Literal, documented grooming strategies. They build trust with your kid over weeks. They gift virtual currency. They isolate. They normalize. And then they destroy. The kid on the Shawn Ryan Show tried to kill himself at fifteen. His mother reported it to Roblox. The company did nothing. The predator — a man named Kevin Nolan, featured in Roblox's own TV commercials on Cartoon Network — is still free. Still online. Seven hundred thousand people watched that interview in two days. Twenty million reports of child exploitation hit the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children's CyberTipline last year. Twenty million. Reports of online enticement surged 192% in a single year. And those are just the cases someone actually reported. Your child's bedroom is not safe. Not because you failed as a parent. Because the battlefield moved into your house through a screen, and nobody told you. I know what it feels like when a man reaches for a child in a room no one is watching. I know what it does to a boy. I know what it costs him for the next three decades. I know the silence. I know the shame. I know the way your body flinches at things you can't explain, and your wife asks what's wrong, and you say "nothing" because you don't have the words. I have the words now. And I'm using them. I'm not starting a movement. I'm not launching a nonprofit. I'm not pivoting my platform. I'm doing what a father does. A father protects his own. And he warns other fathers. So here's your warning. This is the priority for Big Tech. They can’t figure out how to keep kids safe but they are tracking the second a child turns 13 on their platform so they can shut out parents. Hey Roblox: 13 yo still need parental protection!!! WTF This is why we need to wake up. Do you know why big tech acts 13 years old is an adult? Bc that’s the cut off for the prohibition on data collection of minors under COPPA, the ONE internet regulation we have. So Big tech abuses it, and treats this like some magical law that means 14+ no longer deserves protection for anything online. Big Tech will NEVER do the right thing.
