Money was literally invented to not have to know your customer. It was created to eliminate the layer of trust needed between the exchange of goods. KYC is antithetical to money.

Very happy to speak today on behalf of @TennesseeBTC in support of Tennessee's Strategic Bitcoin Reserve Act in the House Finance, Ways, and Means Subcommittee. Bitcoin moves forward each day and Tennessee should join in the movement. tnga.granicus.com/player/clip/33…

5 minutes before Trump’s announcement: * $1.5B notional worth of S&P500 (ES) futures are bought in a single clip. * $192M notional of oil futures (CL) sold. More than 4x-6x any other trade size during the market close. Insiders profited from his lies in broad daylight!

🚨 Here is the full 40 minutes of my crew and I exposing California fraud, Minnesota was big but California is even bigger... We uncovered over $170,000,000 in fraud as these fraudsters live in luxury with no consequences. Like it and share it, the fraud must STOP. We ALL work way too hard and pay too much in taxes for this to be happening. These fraudsters have been able to defraud American taxpayers for years without any pushback from the public and politicians. It is time to EXPOSE IT ALL and end America's fraud crisis.

The West will be saved by a generation of young men who are re-learning the importance of the word 'NO'.

New York City says there’s no money, yet @ZohranKMamdani just signed a $1.86 BILLION no bid contract to house people in hotels. That’s about $330 per night per room, nearly $10,000 per month or $120,000 per year. Meanwhile taxes keep rising and services are cut. Many being housed have contributed little or nothing to New York’s tax base, yet taxpayers are footing the bill. When I am New York State Comptroller, I will audit every penny of these hotel shelter contracts. New Yorkers deserve answers. A real watchdog is coming.

Yeah, so basically it turns out Meta has been heavily lobbying online age verification laws. They've lobbied over $2,000,000,000 to politicians in form of grants and donations. x.com/bee_fumo/statu…

Today, the SDNY prosecutors filed a letter to Judge Failla requesting a retrial date. They want to go again in October. The prosecutors want to retry me on 2 counts the jury couldn't unanimously decide on. A jury of 12 Americans heard 4 weeks of evidence and deadlocked: no verdict on money laundering, and no verdict on sanctions violations. The government's response? Try again to make writing code a crime. @realDonaldTrump declared the "War on Crypto is over." 🇺🇸 AG @DAGToddBlanche's memo: DOJ "is not a digital assets regulator" and won't target mixers for end-user acts. @USTreasury lifted Tornado Cash sanctions entirely. ✅ Also Treasury, March 2026: "Lawful users of digital assets may leverage mixers to enable financial privacy." — official report to Congress under the GENIUS Act. But the SDNY prosecutors — same country, same DOJ — just filed to retry me anyway. 🤔 ⠀ The 2 counts = up to 40 years in federal prison. ⛓️ For writing open-source code. For a protocol I don't control. For transactions I never touched. A jury already couldn't agree this was criminal. But the SDNY prosecutors want to keep trying with the hope of getting a different answer. ⠀ I have a daughter. I have a life in Seattle. I will never stop fighting for freedom. ❤️ But I need to be honest with you: Four weeks of trial. A hung jury. Now they want to do it all over again in October. I have basically exhausted my legal defense funds. And I'm staring down another full federal trial. 😔 Every dollar raised goes directly to keeping this fight alive — attorneys, experts, the full defense apparatus it takes to stand up to the SDNY prosecutors. This isn't abstract. If I can't fund a defense, they win by default. If you care about financial privacy, if you write code and believe that code is speech — this is the moment. 💻🔐 👇

Claude Code wiped our production database with a Terraform command. It took down the DataTalksClub course platform and 2.5 years of submissions: homework, projects, and leaderboards. Automated snapshots were gone too. In the newsletter, I wrote the full timeline + what I changed so this doesn't happen again. If you use Terraform (or let agents touch infra), this is a good story for you to read. alexeyondata.substack.com/p/how-i-droppe…

🇬🇧 The Ministry of Justice has ordered the deletion of the UK's largest court reporting archive. Courtsdesk, a platform launched to improve media access to magistrates' court data has been ordered to delete its archive of records by David Lammy's Ministry of Justice. According to Courtsdesk, the platform has since been used by more than 1,500 journalists from 39 media organisations and the data provided has highlighted serious failures in the courts system. It said journalists were given no advance notice of 1.6 million criminal hearings, the number of court cases listed was accurate on just 4.2 per cent of sitting days and half a million weekend cases were heard with no notification to the press. In November, HM Courts and Tribunal Service issued the company a cessation notice, citing what it called "unauthorised sharing" of court data, on the basis of a test feature, claiming this was a "data protection issue." Enda Leahy, the Courtsdesk chief executive said: "We built the only system that could tell journalists what was actually happening in the criminal courts. We wrote 16 times asking for dialogue. Last week we got our answer: delete everything. If the government were interested in open justice, they would engage in a dialogue." Follow: @europa

let’s check in on Mike Brock: lmfao 🤣 ☠️

I ❤️ @DavidSacks What a ridiculous attempted hit piece that just makes Sacks look like a badass The NYT reports that he had sold or initiated the sale of 99% of his conflicting assets It’s impossible to simultaneously be a) competent and b) do more to deconflict HERO 🫡
