@Rossotft @bluebottle271 @BSBUseless @FutboiiJohn @Sheep_Esports Anyone could have gotten 10 kills against zoil. My point is that xqc lost lane badly against poke in both game one and game two, while in game three poke got curbstomped into the dirt by kingsman who went 13 and 2 and lost lane for the first time all tournament.

@33CommonSense @Darkside_Flip @BarryOnHere Yeah make the guy with 5 baby mommas, swears every other post game interview, speaks his mind without a care in the world, that’s the guy the nba wants to be face of the league, the fans like him but he’s not ad friendly so Adam silver wont back him, that’s why they chose sga.

*taps microphone* It's obvious to anybody who isn't an OKC/SGA supporter that OKC benefits from a massive double standard from the referees. Teams are simply not allowed to play them with the same level of physicality that they are allowed to play against their opponents. This particularly applies to SGA more than anybody else. Everybody focuses on the fouls called, but it's the fouls NOT called that are more impactful. However, there's no stat to track non-calls because it will always be "subjective". This dilemma creates endless arguments. But watching the games, we all see it. OKC doesn't NEED the whistle they get to be a great team, but that whistle does take them to a level of dominance that feels artificial and impossible to fully respect no matter how much they win.

@Darkside_Flip @BarryOnHere How about artificially create the next face of the league? You get dumbfucks who think since it’s okc it can’t be intentional when they are literally trying to make the next generational black shooting guard to save ratings: MJ, Kobe, get him a three peat and… SGA! NBA’S SAVED!

@ouncesback @KyleGilchrist_ @TheHoopCentral @ohnohedidnt24 The point is that the ft count shouldn’t be that close. Okc commits fouls on nearly every possession and THEY ARE NOT CALLED HALF AS MUCH AS THEY SHOULD! Thats the problem! Just going “duRr fReE tHRowS arE nEAr eQUaL!” While ignoring the damn elephant in the room, blind ass mf

@CPowers89 @LegionHoops @RunItBackFDTV The answer is that other teams aren’t allowed to play as physical as okc is. It’s objectively not possible for their defense to have that much higher of a rating than any other team in nba history without being allowed to physically do more on that end of the court. It’s just not

@Danlube2 @LegionHoops @RunItBackFDTV The tech on Book out of bounds was BS, not even OKC fans argue that. Are you able to ask yourself, “does my team play with the same effort on the defensive side of the ball that OKC does on a nightly basis?” My guess is your mad at the wrong team if you’re honest 🤷‍♂️

@CPowers89 @LegionHoops @RunItBackFDTV Why is it just okc people hate then? Why not Milwaukee or the cavs or Denver? Why does every single nba fan hate watching okc play if there isn’t a reason for it? The answer is that everyone who’s not an okc fan can see it. I’m a bucks fan, it’s just that terrible to watch.

@CPowers89 @LegionHoops @RunItBackFDTV Referees hide bad officiating by making the total ft count similar, it doesn’t change the fact that one team is allowed to play harder and more physical on defense, or that one team gets random techs that have no business being called, or weak calls to stop momentum at a bad time

@EliLanger @NBA_NewYork Literally hate using this app at all, but have to mention that single game box plus minus is objectively awful as a metric for how good a player is. Please stop using it the way you are, it’s only useful with a sample size of 40 games plus.

As absolutely amazing as Brunson is — and he’s tremendously clutch — there’s a reason he is thanking Kolek. Brunson was a -16, Kolek was a +13. Game in and game out these numbers repeat themselves. While Brunson IS a scoring machine, he tends to give those points back quickly on the other end, while Kolek does not. I don’t know what to do with this info, but it’s glaring.

@IWDominate @BruceeeOK36 @AngeloRiveroC It’s literally just peak. Use the word peak, it’s what’s used in all sports commentary when describing when a player was most dominant relative to the competition, because your not using prime right.

@xEquinox17 @Keire157 For one simple reason: do you think 2025 faker would beat 2015 faker? Prime is an objective thing it refers to when a person is at their highest level of skill, and if you believe that 2025 faker would win, then 2015 cannot be his prime because has objectively gotten better.

@Keire157 i dont understand why some people think they can comment on faker's prime when they weren't there to watch it. besides that, its simply impossible to be anywhere near his skill back then considering league is now more of a team game

@Cerouus @Stark_axie @nv188 @IWDominate I agree with this, yet the question is still very simple. Prime refers to when you reach the pinnacle of your skill in something, if it is objectively true that 2025 faker would gap 2015 faker than 2015 couldn’t have been his prime because he got better since.

@Stark_axie @nv188 @IWDominate It's only valid in a vacuum. Your logic works up until it collides with realty. The mechanical plays he performed in the past are absolutely mind-boggling when you go back and watch him. Faker has evolved as a player in a world where his hands can no longer do what they used to.

Danlube@Danlube2·
@GreVauPe @Stark_axie @nv188 @IWDominate Then he shouldn’t have used the word prime, because that word literally refers to when you cannot get better at something, when you hit the peak of your powers and have no room to grow, where the only way you can go in the future is down.

@Stark_axie @nv188 @IWDominate You are completely misunderstanding the argument then. Faker is absolutely a better player now than he was back then, but so is basically every other pro player. The game has evolved a ton and everyone is better. With your argument the goat would change all the time

@BlackXephos99 @Stark_axie @nv188 @IWDominate Then you don’t understand what prime means. The definition refers to the peak of a persons skill. And if 2025 faker could beat 2015 faker then it objectively means 2015 wasn’t his prime as faker has actively gotten better since. Prime is when you don’t have room to grow only fall

@rem_tree @HuravoY @Zane_Wills_ @IWDominate The nfl is currently in its mahomes era, while the nba is struggling because it’s past the LeBron era and there is no replacement. The average audience tunes in when greatness can be seen, the nba is falling off because not a single team has won back to back since the warriors.

@Danlube2 @HuravoY @Zane_Wills_ @IWDominate Btw Bulls won 6 in 8 years and I dont think NBA "peaked in 90s", it was more about basketball becoming more culturally relevant. NFL has set viewership records after "Brady era". Also NFL whole system is kinda built up so the smaller/underdog teams can more easly compete...

@rem_tree @HuravoY @Zane_Wills_ @IWDominate I was referring only the years Jordan competed, and that’s the whole point. A dominant star or team takes center stage for a period of time and draws engagement. They retire and a new set of stars and teams become dominant and draw engagement.
