I'm really disturbed by how many people Citizen Vigilante is resonating with. This should be a WARNING for all of us.
The movie portrays real societal concerns that we SHOULD worry about. But this guy isn't Batman or your classic Western hero who just wants to put the gun away and go home. He wants the fame. He declares himself completely above the law, absolutely satisfied that people are watching his rampage with satisfaction.
I'm not sure if the director was glorifying this or trying to warn us, but the audience takeaway is incredibly dangerous. If governments keep turning a blind eye to chaos, the "Bubba Effect" is going to take over, but you won't like the tyrant who shows up to fill the void.
Also, as a side note, the movie is just a flat-out mess. He practically signs his name at every crime scene, leaving his guns behind and touching every single doorknob in sight. His fingerprints are EVERYWHERE. In America, the cops would have had this guy behind bars ten minutes into the film.

In 2013, Obama was confronted by immigration activists demanding he halt deportations. He refused. He said he was bound by the law.
Today he's encouraging Americans to protest the law and obstruct ICE for enforcing the same statutes he did. The man is such a hypocrite.
