The Scottish Parliament has voted to back calls for a referendum on Scottish independence. First Minister @JohnSwinney calls for UK Government to agree a Section 30 order.

Independence is a means to an end. I've seen far too much progress halted over the last twelve years - Scotland can do better.

You lose credibility as an objective commentator when you start arguing that Nicola Sturgeon wasn't cleared by Police Scotland. Joanna Cherry: "She wasn't cleared of any wrongdoing, she just wasn't prosecuted." Dear oh dear.

Listening to the anti #ScottishIndependence MSPs - Not one of them has said anything positive about the "union". NOT ONE SINGLE POSITIVE REASON TO STAY IN THE UNION. WHY? Because there is nothing! Whereas the reasons for #ScottishIndependence are being stated constantly.
