anti aging/acc A new clinical trial is bringing very encouraging news for longevity science. Researchers tested a stem cell therapy called Lomecel-B in 148 adults aged 70–85 with age related frailty, a condition that causes weakness, slower movement, and loss of independence. The results were very impressive. After a single treatment, many participants showed clear improvements in physical function. Nearly 1/3 improved enough that they were no longer classified as frail nine months later. Patients receiving the most effective dose also walked about 63 meters farther in a 6 minute walking test than those who received a placebo. The therapy uses stem cells derived from healthy donors, which appear to reduce inflammation and support tissue repair in aging bodies. This is one of the most promising human trials yet suggesting that regenerative medicine can reverse aspects of aging related decline, not just manage symptoms.
