@PMAJellies @unitygames Yeah but in a studio setting 200k revenue is nothing. Midrange mobile studios often operate on pretty thin 5-10% margins.
So you could be in a situation where you earned 200k rev but made only 10k profit and Unity is now “taxing” you 40k. Completely insane

I’ve been developing in Unity3D for over 12 years.
Every other system in unity has been remade better by users. Unity community have substituted the shitty documentation.
Everything that actually makes Unity a good and usable engine it owes to its users.

Made a spreadsheet to compare concurrent players to concurrent players peaks and Twitch viewership for games on Steam.
Sim games have crazy loyal fanbase.
CP2077 is dead even by singleplayer standards.
Twitch viewership doesnt reflect game's playerbase
