Told my kids how this was going to be a mid 90s summer. Meaning when I was a kid tv sucked between 10am and 4 pm. So we entertained ourselves. No devices and no streaming during this window.

If you're in Kansas and think it's bad, go have a look at the Texas panhandle. I saw exactly zero acres of dryland wheat that will be harvested and the better of the irrigated looks like 50 bushel wheat.

I've been through Kansas, Nebraska, Colorado, New Mexico, and the Texas panhandle in the last two weeks and anything west of OKC looks terrible. Lots of cows on bare land. Wildlife grazing 2' from the pavement because that's the only green grass for a hundred miles.

I do think I’ve seen a lot of change in farming operations in the last 14 years…
But my 89 year old neighbor, who started his farming career with draft horses, is out doing fieldwork with a couple 8RX’s.
