.@JDVance has a point. Just War Theory has long existed in the church. That’s why so many Christians were scratching their heads after the pope’s sweeping statement. It would be one thing to make the case that the current conflict doesn’t meet the criteria, but it’s another to say war is NEVER justified. I think such a position is actually lazy and immoral because it offers no help for the vulnerable. In such a paradigm, the slaves would’ve never been freed in the American South, and the Jews would’ve never been freed in the German camps. When dialogue fails, sometimes brave people must defend the defenseless.

What’s impressive about this is that the education system didn’t just eliminate virtually all conservative thought as it moved toward left wing extremism, they got rid of almost anyone who was in the middle too. Anyone who doesn’t fully comply with the groupthink isn’t welcome.
