I summoned a ghost today. i've been wandering around hearing a strange woman's voice in my house. Standing near a wall I could hear her more clearly, but as I moved around the sound went away. It was a bit uncanny as ghosts tend to be. I live in an old victorian house/hovel and I do not ask questions. As I walked around it was everywhere and nowhere. Then as I sat down to have a little break from writing I realize the phone call I had made to the bank earlier had never ended. I was hearing the recorded lady voice all muffled through my pants pocket. Of course if I was standing it was too quiet to hear, yet if I was near a reflective surface it would bounce up to my ears. I'd still rather think my house is haunted because my other option is that I am an idiot. 😁

I really need to next week get busy editing the grimoire ..... DMs will cackle with glee .... Players will moan in absolute terror .... Let your Games be more terrifying...

@thecriticaldom If you only knew ALL the plans ..... I'm working on something that will take DaveCon to the next level yet keep it a small convention.

Waiting for my flight, but if I can recommend @DaveCon_MN again, where else can you meet these guys?! Jeff Berry played Empire of the Petal Throne with Barker, and everyone at this stage knows Dave Wesely, who was also generous enough to sign my Blackmoor Foundations book.

Day two was amazing as well. Great games and many thanks to @SlongiAndStew for coming out. A lot of work to do going forward but it's exciting!

Was asked if I could take in another litter of kittens born in my neighborhood. I said no, it's someone else's turn. The thing they don't tell you about rescuing animals is that if you do it once, you become the neighborhood druid and everyone calls you when there are more!

Hotel, dates, guests secured and have decided on the next color for the convention ..... I am also going to announce now, the BAR will be open Friday and Saturday night till MIDNIGHT !

First day of @DaveCon_MN was a massive success! Two games played with 9 different players and a lot of great feed back. I'm looking forward to tomorrow (and hopefully operating on much more sleep)
