@CDNPolicyHawk It was a book written in 2005 so I guess its possible someone in their 20's might have grown up with it, but their 30's? Maybe more of a false memory. I wouldn't say I grew up with something if I was already 10+ yrs old.

@m_Janelle @FfWorthington @NoahGairn Before my release 3.5 yrs ago, I saw two people in an AVLB deploy an MLC 70 bridge in under two minutes on YouTube, made me think of all the MGB I built in my 10 yrs in, and wonder why we didn't somehow maintain that capability? 2 minutes, 2 people, vs a Troop and hours?

@Lucvend I haven't really had a lot of time to process how quick I've grown I feel. Back in May, before CANSEC, the substack had under 10000 viewers per month. I was a lot more niche, and people here have known me mostly for years, so I feel were used to me. Now? Not so much lol.

@DivebumChef Not a single thing wrong with that, speaking as a med release Cpl, like so many others of our ilk that for whatever reason, didn't make it to the non-commissioned officer level. Your 10.5, and my 9.5(ish) years in, is a lot more than 98% of Canadians who have zero time in.
