Roger Moore: "The Saint was what I had been waiting for...No swords, no saddles, no armour, not even a toga. Instead, it was a cool car, a stiff drink and sharp suits. He was the foundation for the rest of my career: Simon Templar, or, if you like, Simon Template."

@mikethenavyguy Gurv dude is delusional, most Americans will hear that interview and see PP calling Trump insane and crazy over and over. That won't fly with MAGA, and Trump/MAGA holds cards in a trade deal

Sergeant Masumi Mitsui emigrated from Japan and fought at Vimy Ridge. He earned the Military Medal at Hill 70. Upon return, he had to fight for the right to vote. In 1942, Canada called him an enemy alien, seized his farm, and forcibly relocated his family.

@JonFraserTF CE requirements for products and compliance would cripple the Canadian economy and further harm trade with the states. It would be very, very expensive for Canadians in every day living.

@ChinasCanada @globeandmail to your "even a cook" comment, yet the Major in the image doesn't know the dress regs, for sure not a cook. Been a while since I was a cook, you can see my career, I have my linkedin in my profile

@ChinasCanada @globeandmail I am aware of that, and the Canadian soldier should not be wearing a US flag on their uniform, nor should the Americans be wearing a Canadian flag. They are violating their countries regulations.

In the image provided, there are actually two U.S. Army soldiers and one Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) member participating in a joint exercise. The patches identify them as part of Operation NANOOK, Canada's signature annual Arctic sovereignty and training operation. The patches identify them as part of Operation NANOOK, Canada's signature annual Arctic sovereignty and training operation. Patches on the Soldiers, Left Soldier (U.S. Army) National Flag: U.S. flag in full color on the right shoulder. Operation Patch: A circular Operation NANOOK patch featuring a polar bear, which is the symbol of this Arctic mission. Middle Soldier (U.S. Army) Unit Patch: The 10th Mountain Division "Mountain" tab and crossed bayonets patch on the left shoulder, indicating his assignment to this light infantry division based at Fort Drum, New York. Right Soldier (Canadian Armed Forces) National Flag: The National Flag of Canada in full color on the left shoulder. Formation/Unit Patch: A shield-shaped patch below the flag. Based on its green border and central design, this is likely a Canadian Joint Operations Command (CJOC) patch or a specific regional brigade patch (like 37 Canadian Brigade Group) often associated with these exercises. Sentinel Patch: The small heart-shaped patch with a stylized figure is the Sentinel Program patch, representing a peer support network for members in distress. Operation NANOOK: This joint training focuses on Arctic security and interoperability between allies. The 2026 program includes several "serials" like NANOOK-NUNALIVUT, which tests the ability to project and sustain forces in harsh High Arctic conditions alongside partners like the United States.
